I wish I had a megaphone for my mind so that it wouldn’t be so hard for me to tell the rest of the world what I’m thinking.

Audrey hated that megaphone. Just like she hated P.E. If it weren’t for Mrs. Brownlee, P.E. would be okay, fun even.
Audrey liked sports. She enjoyed physical activity. She was good at soccer, volleyball, and softball, and so were her classmates. P.E. should’ve been one of the things she really enjoyed about school.
But it wasn’t. All becuase Mrs. Brownlee and her stupid megaphone that grated on Audrey’s nerves and her self-esteem if everything wasn’t perfect.

I freakin wrote about megaphones yesterday, but the damn website won’t give me anything else. There isn’t honestly anything else to say about megaphones! I don’t care about a piece of funnel shapped plastic that projects sound! Who does? Other than football coaches?

Trials and struggles are the megaphone for bringing out what’s in our hearts. What comes our when you’re squeezed, under pressure?

My English teacher uses a megaphone in class. It’s so that those of us who want to actually listen so we can pass the test he’s talking about can hear over the idiots in the back. And because megaphones are awesome. True story.

“WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO LOUD?!” I screamed, trying to top his voice. “BECAUSE THEN, IF I’M NOT LOUD, NO ONE WILL UNDERSTAND!”
“It doesn’t have to be like that…” I looked away shyly, down at my feet.
“What do you mean?” He said, pulling the megaphone away from his mouth.

Her heart yelled like a megaphone, tearing at the very core as she stood there watching him board the plane. It would be the longest seven months of her life as she took on the job of homemaker and pregnant mother…alone. The sky seemed unusually dark for a Florida afternoon; she hoped it wasn’t a warning sign.

The director held the megaphone up to his lips, adjusted his cap, and shouted, “One more time!”
The band groaned and bent over to massage their tired joints as they marched back to set zero.

the megaphone was heard from miles away. the speech had been made. everyone heard. all that was left now, was for the monster to make it over the hill. the ground shook as it made its way to the populace. what were they to do now?
By Edt on 07.20.2011
Those who speak the loudest are usually the ones with the least worth while things to say. But they are also the ones who are heard, the ones who are blindly followed and therein lies the the biggest problem we face today, Wrongful worship.

a man or women uses it during sport events or to tell a big group directions. he/she puts it to their mouth and pushes a button and starts to talk through it.
Burn the bridges! Storm the drains! Send the engines up in fire! Down with the status quo! Up with the quidam quod!
This way, this way! What do we want?
We will never forget! We will never remember! This way! What do we want?

No one can hear me, it’s as if i’m all alone on a street full of people. I’m losing my breath and if i can’t get my message out, then all hope will be lost. I need something to project my voice, something that will let everyone hear me. I need a megaphone. I have a voice.

“COME ON GUYS, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!” The coaches voice boomed over the field as we ran our fifth lap around the track. I was huffing and puffing, feet slapping across the pavement in an uneven rhythm, but I couldn’t stop, not when the coach was so harsh on anyone who gave up. I’d rather come in last than give up.

Hello, can you hear me? Of course you can. I love this thing. This is the voice of God speaking. Not reallly, Just a megaphone! Ha! What else can I do…. Um, Emergency, emergency this is an emergency! HA! HA! HA!…. Oh, hello officer….

Cheerleaders. Cheerleaders, everywhere. Doing backflips, front flips, cartwheels. It must be dizzying. But it can’t be that bad, because everyone wants to be them. Or that’s what we think. Then there are those people who are so determined to say “no, cheerleading is lame.”

shout to the hill tops, shout shout shout, express your thoughts and stop locking them away inside your dumb little minds. You are not sheep! You don’t have to be ‘normal’ be some strange, different fascinating and curious! Be something else, and be your self.

Megaphones remind me of extreme makeover home edition. When Ty yells at the family to come out of the house for their surprise. Or it reminds me of high school cheerleaders. It is funny how one word can evoke both positive and negative feelings.

I stand on a street corner, hoping someone will hear me. My megaphone isn’t nearly loud enough to catch the attention of the people who walk past me. They’re all too busy with their own problems to get my message, but I’m only trying to help. If only they knew what they were ignoring.

yelling, shouting and calling somebody in a really big crowd is stupid… i would like to have a little megaphone in my backpack so i can bring it with me all the time and find my friends whenever i want :)

The cheerleader captain held it up to her mouth and screamed “Let’s go AB let’s go!” the football player looked up at her with a surprised look, and smashed into another player. The rest of the team slapped their foreheads in frustration. He couldn’t do anything right!

loud and makes a mega noise, but not phoney because a phone is something you make a call on, though I suppose in some ways it could be considered like a telecommunications device as you are speaking in some contexts to spread information and perhaps get an answer. But it’s not fake phoney, it’s still a megaphone.
By Rebecca on 07.20.2011
loud. very loud. heard! your going to have your thoughts heard. powerful. meaningful. thoughtful. let them know your here. leave your mark. listen to the music. too loud, too old. live free. live loud.

He didn’t need a megaphone, Ludo Bagman, he didn’t. He used a ‘Silencio’ to charm his voice to a lower volume and another charm for increasing it. Being a wizard has its own benefits.

Sue. Yes, I’m a Gleek, big time. And I kinda wish Glee was on right now, cuz this house is driving me crazy!! I need some cookie dough and some nice Glee. Or a bat and a pinata. That would be nice too. Jeeze, I’m out of things to write about now. Megaphone… Who the hell invented them anyway?? Someone with a fetish for being loud??
By Sammi-Rhea URL on 07.20.2011
Loud and clear,
If you’ve got something to say
Say it here.
Don’t go complicating
No hesitation or fear
Like a megaphone
