  10. Utilitarianism is supposed to mean happiness for the masses. It’s about satisfying the greatest number of people with the resources available. Or at least that’s what I’ve been taught. I could be way off.

  12. If there is a mass in your breast you need to get it checked right away. The earlier things like this are dealt with the easier the treatment and better the out come. So why do people delay this check up when they discover a mass? Is it because ” no news is good news ” or is it a chance to let it go away on it’s own – on it’s own is ” now ” and it is not going to work this way – the only way to make it better is to ” own the problem now ” and make it better.

  23. Mass is a heavy word. No pun intended. It can be used in so many different ways, but today, it reflected the feeling in my chest. The day I buried her. The day her warning became real. She told me, that I would see what she meant about dying young. I never believed her, but now, sitting here in this cold church, surrounded by people I never knew she knew, I believed her, and it was the worst feeling in the world.

  26. this makes me think of physics and all of the equations we had to learn, like mass equals distance over time or something like that. I know it’s wrong! But, oh dear bad memories. I hated GCSE physics. Damn those equations getting the better of me.
