  1. mango is my favorite fruit and is freakin yummy!!!

  2. The flavor of the medicine I had to take for strep throat every year when I was a kid. I hear it’s actually quite delicious when served fresh, but I simply cannot bring myself to even sniff mango… to me, it just tastes like illness, doctor’s offices, and a terribly, terribly sore throat!

  3. I enjoy mangoes they are very good and good for the soul. they better your life so eat them…. NOW!!!!!!!!

  4. I love mangos. Just the word mango is funny. they are sweet and sour like limes but much better. they have an outside like nectarines. they make you happy. who doesn’t like mangos.

  8. I absolutely love dried mango, in fact, so much so that it could also be classified as something I have a shopping addiction to. The best place to buy them is at Costco. You get a full bag of them for around $10, as opposed to the bulk aisle in Save On for at least $16 (and half the amount). I like dried mango, fresh mango, all mangoes.

  9. This mango is poisonous, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at it. The color is the same as any other mango, the smell, the taste. But this one will kill you, not at first, but eventually. In ten, maybe twenty years after you eat this mango you will die. Maybe thirty, maybe forty, but one day.

  10. “This is really tasty,” Sheila said as she bit into the mango salad. “Took me all day too,” Josephina replied. “How can cutting up fruit take all day?” “Gotta catch ’em first.” “Oh” was all Sheila said as she pushed the bowl away.

  11. the old saturday night live skit that my mother thought was so hilarious and I knew and know was so offensive–why is being gay so funny to people but yet those same people will argue that gay people should not be allowed to live their lives? Life, like a juice mango (not that I like mangos) should be lived to its fullest always, regardless of whether you are a fruit–or what kind of fruit you are.

  12. i know the mango is supposed to be sweet but it isn’t. to me it tastes like a pinetree, why would someone want to eat a pinetree. maybe its just that i live in the north and they arent fresh like in florida where my girlfriend gets papayas from trees in her yard. thats fresh you know. all we got is blueberries, but i can’t complain, i love blueberries and raspberries

  13. It is a fruit or so I think, I once had this friend who said he thought I smelled like mangos, I always wondered what it meant to smell like a mango and walk with a tango. unlike any other.
    Some would address it
    Tangerine.
    They’re cemented

    Tangerine.
    I would address it
    Mango.
    Luscious, delectable,

    She only breathes
    Mango.

  17. Technically I already wrote about this one, but I’ll do it again since I just signed up. I have a mango in my fridge. It’s been in there for weeks so it’s likely bad. Hope it doesn’t stink. I could throw it out in the yard for some hungry bunnies or foxes to munch on. Maybe I’ll do that. Actually, I’ll do that now…

  18. I have a mango in my fridge. It’s been in there for weeks, so it’s likely bad now. I should probably throw it out, but what if it’s still good? Hmmm. Should probably check. Should. Maybe later. Ah geez, now I guess I have to do it so I don’t come off as lazy. I can always go get another mango at the store, right?

  19. My friend Ursula is cute and tiny and has a soft lilting voice. She is sweet and ripe as nectar, and I can hear her dancing among the trees in and among dreams. I came across a recipe for caramelized upside down mango cake and it had coconut milk and red chiles in it. She is the epitome of richness and spice.

  36. Every time we walked to the pool we passed a mango tree. We were never there when they were ripe. But I always dreamed of one day being there when they were ripe, climbing the tree’s knobby branches, peeling back thick, sunset colored skin, and eating the fruit amidst the leaves it came from.

  40. I ate the mango from a clear jar not knowing where it had come from and wondering after why on earth anyone would go to the trouble of peeling and slicing and carefully placing it into a glass and then screw on the lid just for me.
