  4. It was sad to be the last person left. Everyone else had gone home for the weekend, and I was left standing at the carpool lane by myself. I was trying to think about what I would do this weekend. Maybe I would finally get to see the new pirate movie. Mmmmm…. movie popcorn. My favorite.

  5. I think I already did this one but I can do it again. Dylan left, Haley left, Max left, Shannon almost left… This word is way too common in my life. It seems that almost all the people I’ve truly cared about how left and it sucks.

    Sooner than I expected

  8. Left over, zurückgelassen, übriggelassen.

  13. The last man left on on earth sat alone in a room. He sat on a wooden crate that creaked under his frail matter, creaking with each breath. His lungs were filled with dust that made him choke with each rise of his chest. His skin clung horribly close to his bones, so he had tried his best to ink his bones with something great. In the end, that’s all that’s left of us, bones caked in soil. He fought his fight and held on dearly to his world, yet his life was not great without any other presence except for space. He liked the silence, the constant chatter of humans made him grow mad, but the vast space of nothing made him insecure. The last man on earth sat alone in a room. A room of destruction and horrible remains. Past the silence, he heard a knock on the door.

  14. They are gone and I am alone.
All by myself with no one to help me.

  16. In oblivion, everything is great. In reality, nothing is so. But the truth is, no one wants reality. Soon fires will spread as masked faces riot through her core. The quiet will be no more as the crown less take the King. From the shadows are fire will be fed, and an inferno will devour our minds. The King is dead.
They say the captain goes down with his ship, so will we go down with our world? And what will happen, when there’s nothing left. Just static. Just space. Empty space. We are the same decomposing organic matter as the earth, we all rot. In oblivion, we are immortal. In reality, we all die. It’s easy to see why most choose not to live in this reality.

    but right isn’t always

Left is best if left is right
right is worst when it isn’t
    tomorrow’s right is not yesterdays
yesterday is not the day before
but right was done not yesterday

If I left, would you care, at all? If I left, would it matter? Would it affect you?
I feel so inconsequential. Your life moves and I don’t even factor in. Not a bit. Can you even tell I’m here, standing right here, and when I’m not?

  25. There was nothing else left but to just finish the paper and hand it in, knowing completely that I would fail it miserably. Some call me a Magicman, maybe no one realized my identity because I’m such a good actor. There you left me. There in the left from the center it hurts. You didn’t trust me when I asked you to trust yourself, its fine. Now you won’t know ever to trust me, because like the Magicman I will hide myself at the sleight of my hands.

  40. Isaac was on Porter’s left, and she didn’t find it at all surprising that, from her view, he was on the right. Since that day through the window he’d always seemed like the right kind of person, but they had both left. Left before they were allowed to talk or continue looking. And when she returned, Porter was where Isaac stood, and she wished now more than ever that their positions could be reversed again.
