  1. There’s a link between you and me. And maybe you don’t feel it but I do everyday. You weigh me down with every turn I make. The shake you wiggle me with every time you jump is too much. Next time I’m going to cut you off.

  2. I love keychains, even though I don’t really use them. But I like the word; it sounds sentimental. It sounds like something that lasts between friends. I like it. It sounds like something that can hold keepsakes. It’s just wonderful, really. It’s a chain. :)

  3. I have this thing I hold in my hand
    it shines and sparkles
I hold it up to the light and watch as it revolves around the universe
    all that has ever been
    all that ever will
as things retract and delve back within themselves
we learn that theres more to finding something than attaching it to something larger

  4. A keychain holds your keys which unlock your car and house. You can have other little ornaments on it and they can all be held on a lanyard. the lanyard could also have a design on it like a college or your high school. it can even go as far as to represent a little of your personality.

  5. i have a key chain in my pocket it is red and black. it used to have memories tied around that kept a piece of home with me always. you never know when you will need to be home or unlock the feeling. the world never has enough keys. key chains used to have little meaning when I didn’t have anything to unlock.

  6. The key chain was one half of a silver heart. We had gotten it as a joke last year. Now it served as a painful reminder of our severed relationship. I tossed my half in the garbage can and went about my day.

  7. sharon key chain

I have a paris keychain from josh. it’s pink and i love it.
it’s a mini statue of the eifel tower.
I want a really cute keychain. I don’t know where to get a really cute one from.

  8. my keychain tells a story of my childhood likes and dreams. colourful and playful as i am, i made my keychain to match it. using pieces of string coloured of my favourites, i used my hands to create a work of art that i hope stays with me a for a lifetime.

  9. i have so many keychains, but i can only keep some on my keys because i don’t want them to overrun my ignition. i have one given to me from my school for graduation. i have one with a light that my dad loves me that my baby cousin loves to play with. i have a flip flop that says i love bob. amber gave that to me, lindsey never paid for it.

  10. Thomas walked up to the wooden doorstep of his grandparent’s old farm house. Grandma and Grandpa had not lived here in many years. Thomas stopped for a moment, thinking about the rich family history which must have happened here: the births, the dinners, feeding the chickens, the arguments, the peaceful moments overlooking the small pond, and of course, the deaths.

He fingered his keychain as he walked up to the wooden porch, and as he placed weight on it, he fell through and his body was torn asunder by the hungry zombie raccoons who were living underneath.

  11. Keychain can come in many forms. Mine in particular has my name on it. My mom bought me it at a souvenir shop somewhere out of town. Cool I guess. its good for scratching my asshole.

  12. Cling-clang ripples down the dragging rage of that silvery length off into nothing. I don’t know where it ends, I look down and see silver against nothing – clangs against nothing – holes against nothing – locks against nothing – coursing into the abyss.

  13. Crap… Mind Blanked…

  14. I used to collect keychains. Small and large, puppies, kittens, crystals, and cheap plastic ones. I still have them, in a dusty box of forgotten childhood treasures.

  15. I have many on my key ring. I used to have one that had my name engraved on it but then I lost my keys. That was a sad day. I feel like having six keychains for only two keys seems a little excessive, but I love them all and can’t decide which ones I would ever want to take off, if any. Keychains are fun.

  16. I like key chains. I have a little one on my bag, of an ugly doll. and one of corduroy the bear. they’re my childhood icons. I remember the little lizard ones made of beads kids used to have, and how badly i wanted them. they were a symbol of coolness, of popularity. I was not very cool. maybe that’s why I have them now. because now I actually have the ability to be the person I admired so much at age nine.

  17. Oh keychain, oh keychain! Where are my keys?

  18. i have a couple of elephant keychains. one of them is kinda awkward because my ex gave it to me, but its an elephant so it makes it all okay! i also have a cowboy boot that is super duper cute. but now i just need my own keys to use all these keychains!

  19. Keychain. Where art thou? On my backpack? No. Not on my backpack? Yes. So then, where? Idk, my bff, Jill? Oh, aiightss then. I guess that makes sense. Kk, peace out homeyy. XOXO. *wink* Lalalalaaa. KEYCHAIN.

  20. I think it is a simple pleasure to own a cool keychain. It’s something you carry with you all the time and should reflect your personality. It can also help you keep track of your keys.

  21. I’ve used to have bunches of keychains. Not any more. they all broke. it happens.

  22. The keychain dangled ominously, as if it were foretelling her demise. Later, she would hear the chinkling of the bells as if they were the keys, knocking together, and she would wish she had heeded the warning. But how could she know it would come to this? How could the soft clink of keys foretell such pain, such emptiness?

  23. on my backpack there is a chain it is from my favorite place I love it it represents too many memories. My best friend and I have planty of jokes surrounding it. It is unbelievable that something so insignificant can mean so much and carry so much between us. The insignificant can mean so much, it is strange.

  24. This makes me want to find the origin of this word. Why chain? There’s no chain involved. Guess keycircle doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, huh? I guess keythingamabob must have already been taken. Keychain was the next to the next to the next best thing!

  25. I threw the keychain on the floor. “We’re over!” I screamed as he turned around and ran through the door. I didn’t know what to do. I don’t know what to do. Where are my keys? I need to go. I need to drive with the windows down, blaring The Pixies, blaring Bob Dylan, blaring silence.

  27. I actually have a pretty awesome keychain right now. Angel had gotten it for me when she went to the Olympics – it’s the little bear mascot. I have one that Sarah gave me as well, when she went to New Orleans. That one, alas, has seen better days, but it’s special, so yeah.

  28. He got her a keychain for her birthday. Not just any keychain though. The one she had seen in that little store back in New York. The one with their initials on it. She loved it. Almost as much as she loved him.

  30. i have lots of keychains, i dont know how i got most of them but i seem to have lots. some are from around the world some are just from random time of shopping. I even have keys on my keychains that don’t go to anything…that i know of. i started grouping all my keychains into one big one. This girl in gradeschool who i envied a little bit always had lots of interesting keychains. maybe thats why i started. anyways, i am always adding to my big ball of keychains.

  31. The keychain dangled from her purse, a reminder of what she once had. She thinks about removing it every day, then hesitates just as she is about to do so. It shouldn’t be this hard. It should be easy to forget. She just can’t do it.

Today is like all the other days. She moves her hand away.

  32. Keychain. Just another one of those words that haunts me. I always wanted my keychain to look a certain way, because it’s one of those things that defines me and I want it to say this girl is cool, this girl is strong, this girl is whatever like my apartment.

  33. A keychain. I have several. I used to have about 6, but only 2 keys. now I have several keys and no real keychain – just a couple key fobs from the van. Some of my keys go to the place I used to work. They don’t belong anywhere anymore. I think that’s depressing.

  34. ball and chain; the keychain given to me by my first fiancee (there were 2, one became my husband); the keychain is from tiffany and is a small turreted tower. BF #1 said “it’s the only castle he would ever give me” but the thing is, I didn’t want a castle, just more closet space than he was willing to give me, either physically or psychically. It was the lack of psychic space that hurt the most and is why, ultimately, I left.

  37. There was a keychain in her pocket that she took wherever she wen.t Only she didn’t know it was there. At some point or another, someone had put it there in exchange for her wallet. When she got home that night, she would notice this and be devastated.

  39. We bought them together, in the same city, when we were on the same field trip. We were best friends- on the surface. On the inside, she was the queen and I was the loyal servant. I slaved after her. I bought the keychains. Both of them. I had so many other things I wanted to buy, but I bought her a sweater, a keychain, food. I would have bought her the world if I had enough money. I wanted so desperately for her to be happy. We put the keychains on our backpacks to show that we had gone together, that we had done something together. We put matching stickers on, to show off our friendship.

The other day I cried and peeled my sticker off. I refuse to be a slave.

  40. what I got you.
    and you.
    faded paint and chipped.
    same with mine.
    doesn’t really matter.
    just there.
    used to care way more.
    pretty useless.
    constant reminder (nottttttt)

    never again!
