  1. This is the word ascribed to the activities of the young, by people that have struggled so much to keep up, or become so detached from the delicate joy and freedom of their own youth that it is no longer recognisable to them. These are the people that got lost somewhere on the way to Neverland, that never fell down the rabbit hole.

  2. The chain link fence was daunting, but not hemming him in for the rest of his life. Gerald was only 14–kids like him grow out of their phases once they graduate from Juvenile U.

  4. He was juvenile and young in his thinking, the young ferocious conqueror. An idealist beyond measure, with hope of freedom for the oppressed and joy for the downtrodden. He would battle hard for his people. However in his juvenile thinking he forgot to think of those he opressed, in his youth he forgot to think of others. He had imprisoned nations in the very prison he tried to free his people from. If only he had been a man of wisdom.

  6. “I’m not letting you work at some camp for juvenile delinquents,”
“Mom, that’s not-” she cut herself off with a sigh. “They’re not bad kids; they just…they didn’t have parents like you and dad, ok? And I just…I wanna help, a little. If I can,”
She raised a skeptical brow. “This isn’t about the Arendelle girl, is it?”
Anna sighed. “It’s not about Elsa, mom,” ‘Well, it’s not JUST about her anyway’ she amended silently.

  7. After the students’ raucous and juvenile yelling died down, the lecturer walked up to the podium, noticeably limping and rubbing her rigid right arm. Everyone in the hall knew that she was a war veteran, yet somehow, only a select handful of the youth there seemed to care. One girl snapped bubble gum and rolled her eyes, whispering to her friend that the injured soldier had only perpetuated a useless, evil war. And then the veteran spoke.

“I lost use of my arm while saving an Iraqi child from a suicide bomber.”

  8. the whole situation seemed very juvenile, who cared if the man had an affair. Men have affaires, women do it to. Life goes on. Those words weren’t spoken of course, that would seemed terribly unsymapthic and generally wrong, since she was the one who had been cheated on.

  9. If there’s one thing I can’t blame Jacob for doing, it’s messing around off and sometimes on the job. We see so many damn people here, people with missing limbs, bullet holes, missing organs, etc.

  10. He was a young one. With barely the hints of spikes peeking through his hair. But by the regal way he walked through the forrest he seemed to think himself a prince.

  11. His reaction was utterly juvenile, just as she’d expected. What was it about men that caused them to turn into adolescent jerks the minute women tried appealing to their better natures?

  12. I don’t like the word mature. Never liked it, never will. I did love the way you we’re not good enough for me, the way your jokes made me laugh and how simple I felt around you. When I learned who you really were, it really broke me. All my weaknesses came out but only to then find my strenght. I hope I can learn to fogive you, for me, but the way you handle your problems is way too juvenile, way too painful for me.

  13. Oh god, Oh hod no I can’t do this again, I can’t go back to the place, where all the eyes were cold and the hands touched my body as if it wasn’t a body, just a teapot or maybe not even that just a banana skin they saw and the floor and decided to pick up because they hate littering. They don’t hate me, they don’t feel anything about me, they just hate the maker of me the cause. It hurts more than I think it should and I feel like I should maybe protest or hit or kick or scream or something, but oh god.
The man who is handling me now is large, but not too large. He fills up the space of a tiger and his eyes burn with this intensity, but still the glaze over when the pass me. I just wish there was someway that everything, all of this was different, that I was different, that it wasn’t like this.

  14. He looked up from his half-eaten slice of apple pie and stared at me. Danny’s eyes had always been so fascinating, even before he was sent away from Rosewood. “Danny, what is it?” I asked quietly.

Danny sighed and pushed back his hair. “I-I shouldn’t be here, Ally. Not now. After what I’ve done, it’s not safe—”

“Don’t start that again,” I interrupted. “You got acquitted, remember? It’s in the past.”

“Everyone still sees me for what I am, a juvenlile delinquent. That won’t change.”

I squeezed his hand gently and offered a small, reassuring smile. “Danny, I promise you everything will work out fine. You’ll see.”

He sighed and nodded, lightly running his thumb across my knuckles. “You’re so good to me, Ally. I’m blessed I know you.”

I felt the heat rise to my neck and I looked down. “Thanks, Danny. I’ll always be here for you.”

  15. Juvenile is a young person. Older people can act like juveniles when they act immaturely. Juvenile Hall is a name that used to be used for youth court or your jail. The slang was “juve”. The end.

  16. I kept looking at him until he stopped his juvenile tantrum along the pavement. When he looked back up to me, he resumed his crying, but instead he threw his butt on the curb in a shrewd manner. “I don’t wanna go,” he said as he crossed his arms. “They’ll all laugh at me.”

I waited a moment before I responded. He might start up again, and I don’t have anymore patience to deal with him more. “Well, what do you expect me to do about it? Call the FBI if someone even looks at you in a weird way?”

“No,” he said. “I just don’t want them to make fun of me.”

“It’s your own fault, you put it on yourself.” I walked over to him and took off his baseball cap. On his head was an obtrusive elf laying on his head and gnawing at his ear.

“Back off!” the elf cried. “I ain’t got nothin’ to do with this!”

  17. “Daddy, look,” she cried. “It’s a jubedile!.”
Oh god, not again. He peered into the rafters, and, sure enough, two yellows peered back at him.
“Run inside and get Mommy, okay?”
The little girl skipped, her flowered dress twirling in the dry air. The man grabbed his phone and looked up the number for the exterminator to get rid of the “jubedile”.

  18. It seemed juvenile of his part, but I related to it.
It made me go with his flow.
It was kind of when you lay in bed and know that you are dozing off and you just let it.
It was like that, I went into a deep sleep and I knew it.
    Some kind of lucid dream.
    Surviving it was another dilemma.
Sometimes you just have to suck it up.
Sometimes you just can’t wake up.

  19. Emotionally immature. Not willing to be honest with others. Not willing to plan ahead. Taking everything way too personally. Bratty. Knowing what needs to be done but not doing it. Thinking looking at women naked is ok.

  20. He sat swinging his legs. This was a feat, because he was the right height for the chair. Although he was tall, he had the stature of a cardboard cutout: all skin and bones, no substance. His feet looked enormous on the rest of his body, and his ears stuck straight out like teacup handles. He folded his arms and slouched low to show how adult and indifferent he was.

  21. juvenile, kids in tough spots, making bad choices.
kids rebelling against things that make their skin crawl.
    punks wrapped around society’s finger
    angry, crazy, fun.
    kids like me

  22. The heart is a juvenile thing, isn’t it? To feel young at heart. And can you ever really trust a heart in wise decision making? How many succumb to stupidity on behalf of its whims and other flights of fancy? Hatred, now that’s another thing a heart does well. Almost as well as loving. Either way, I’m weary of the immature heart you often see spewing vile words thoughtlessly, or raving platitudes carelessly, for this is a creature too volatile to keep around.

“I am what I am, Jon. You know I’m awesome. Just because YOU don’t appreciate my epic sense of humour…”

    “But spirit never dies!”
“You are impossible,” she shouts back.

  28. i slept passed the time

  29. The juvenile bird chirped in the boys palms. He had gotten up out of bed to the chicken coop behind his house to see the newly born chick. He took the chick to sit upon a soft hill of sand to watch the ascent of light travel across a path of glazed stars. The moon’s power had frozen the dunes in place and turned them to a milky glass. From out of nowhere graced a single shooting star that disappeared over the horizon.
The baby chick chirped some more. From the boy’s pocket, he took out a red ribbon and he tied it to the left leg of the chick. This was to be his chick and his friend.

  31. Upon the journey of endless flight, what is a juvenile supposed to do? What does he expect when he takes his first leap into an abyss that he only knows is dark and see mingling infinite? Does he trust what he was taught? Or does he abandon all and let himself go to panic? All crossed his mind as he sat on the soft train seat, waiting for the next stop.

  32. Delinquency, young and scared, a product of fear in a misplaced space of affection, mis-allocated attention. Possible chemical imbalance but still a semblance of incarnation; a human shroud, with will and inspiration to commit the actions of rivers, flowing coarse with slight remorse, a little juvenile every once in a while.
