  1. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich was great, but it was distracting me. I threw the sandwich onto the paper plate and squinted, peering through the rifle scope. And just in time. A second later and I might have missed the shot. I controlled my breathing, and slowly squeezed the trigger, but all I could think about was how the peanut butter stuck to the roof of my mouth.

  2. you put it on sandwiches or it is kind of lube and there is peanut butter involved but not always, you can make jelly out of strawberries, and preserves of other fruits, grape is also common…what else ummm jellyfish are nice they are purple and pink sometimes with long ribbon like tails but also they can be brown and bulbous and jellyfish can sting you

  3. I slathered my bread in jelly, visciously tearing the knife over the surface, slap, slap, slap.
“God, Ben… you think you could ease up? You’ll have nothing but crumbs by the time your done with that!” Brian snapped rolling his eyes.

  4. Just one word can bring back a world of memories. Time travels back to a homey kitchen, when life was simple. Strawberries cover the counter and water boils on the stove. A simple life of summer and homemade jelly.

  5. My bones feel like jelly. My eyes feel like curtains that dont want to stay up. My brain feels full of jelly too. I’m very gelatinous today. Probably because I only got 5 hours of sleep last night…whoops. jelly filled today.

    by AliAli on 01.31.2011
  6. I joined a cult today. We only eat jelly. 3 times a day, 7 days a week. I sold my life for jelly, it is awesome.

  7. petroleum jelly is why jellyfish are so oily.

  8. A modern mountaintop, soaring above the landscape like a vulture, testament to the excesses of capitalism and the consumer dream, a phallus of the grandest order, piercing the sky in the hope that its stab could fertilize the markets and bear yet more funds into this well fed world… a losing streak on his trades left Gerald delusional, on the brink of psychosis, so he made his way to this pinnacle like a pilgrim, seeking guidance or forgiveness. The roar of the wind up here was vicious and as he neared the edge, his legs wavered in their resolve, as instinct kicked in and flashed images of the aftermath of a hasty stumble at this altitude- gathering crowds, screams, and a once athletic physique turned to jelly. Best take a breath and get back to the trading floor.

  9. jelly is so messy. I like strawberry, but not when there is more jelly than peanut butter, or when the bread is dry. I like jelly on a warm english muffin. I like jelly when it smells like summer and ice tea and lemonade and a strong summer breeze. I like jelly when it likes me.

  10. grape. on a sandwich.
green. like that band when i was in high school.
    shoes. they looked so uncomfortable.

  11. Goes on a sandwich, usually not by itself but with peanut butter… which is a shame because I’m allergic to nuts. It also goes well good with toast.

  12. Peanut butter jelly, brings me back to a simpler time. A time when mom made my lunch and put it in a brown paper bag always with a note inside with some cheesy inspirational quote. I always thought it was stupid. I was always embarrassed by her letters, but now i look back and i want those days again, I want the letters and the pb&j. I want all of it. I want her back.

  13. Jelly in my belly. It feels good, it’s grape, and I think about Bubba-licious and kissing Henry on the air base. We sat in the swings on the kid’s playground and that mean girl made me Spider-Sit with Henry. But his name was really Bubba, at least as far as my five year old self knew.

  15. I like jelly. It reminds of of the inside of a jelly doughnut. This works for me because I am a pastry chef and quite enjoy the realm of sweets. I work with piping jelly a lot due to making custom cakes. Check me out: sadbaker.blogspot.com Pretty awesome. We are doing a baking challenge.

  16. I watched in horror as the jelly flew threw the air. The whole event seemed to take place in slow motion. Why. WHY had I stuck my foot out at that exact moment?! I now watched as my school lunch jelly whipped through the air, jiggling and wiggling into the face of the cutest boy in my grade. I would never live this down.

  17. i am locked in space,
    living a squiggly, relentless,
    ridiculous pace:
it is stupid that i am in such a sticky,
    sickly sweet place.

  18. Jelly is wrong. People shouldn’t eat jelly. I wish it were never created. It’s sugar and…what? No one knows. Scientists know. That’s what’s wrong… food isn’t science. It’s necessary. It’s a basic need.

    by Emma on 01.31.2011
  19. it’s purple and goes on sandwiches. I like it with peanut butter. it’s really good. Sometimes people eat it on toast. and i like pb+j crackers as well. it’s really sticky if you get it on your fingers. black berry is my favorite flavor :) it’s great to use at tea parties to put on pastries and what not. It goes great with devonshire cream (a type of cream for pastries at a tea party). It’s also the beginning part of the name Jellyfish. Those hurt. :/ I prefer the edible kind of jelly :P

  20. Ok well I was sick the other day and I really wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I asked my mom if she’d make one for me but sadly she said no. I really hate being sick because I never get to do anything. My dad didn’t make me one either cause he always makes me grilled cheeses :)

  21. The jelly in her hands was warm. At first, she really wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with it. She couldn’t really turn back now, but she wasn’t positive she wanted to proceed. This experience might not be a good one. Making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich utensil-less couldn’t be easy….

  23. So Jelly, jelly is something you can use for food or sex, depending on your level of general depravity or hunger. Generally processed in Wisconsin for some unknown reason, perhaps the rendering process is so obnoxious.

  28. The jelly was warm, kinda sticky, but still good. I’m not a fan of warm jelly, but this was particularly good. I’m not sure why, maybe it was the flavor of the jelly, maybe the texture, but it was the most amazing jelly ever.

    by Jayci on 01.31.2011
  29. Jelly is something I usually put on toast in the form of mashed and preserved fruit. But now I also associate the word with KY sex lubricant. Disgusting. I would not put KY on toast. And I would not use fruit jelly during sex.

  30. I love jelly, to be honest. It’s so..jelly-like. Gelatin. Jelly reminds me of change. Change or movements that always go back to its place. Kind of like life. You may go some places or whatever, but you’ll end up where you need to be. Jelly also tastes good. I love cherry flavour. I made jelly when I was a kid. Jelly is nice.

  31. My stomach and thighs are jelly.
    My arms too.
All of me is a big jiggling bowl of jelly.
Sometimes it works because I think of myself like Santa.
    Jolly and jiggling!

  32. I stood amidst a modern forest of teak cabinets, shelves, and tables: Wonderbread and spoon in hand. Precariously perched high on the maple shelf top, the jar of strawberry jelly sang to me; its seductive song — tinged with promises of satisfaction — mesmerized my ears to its will. Captivated, I painstakingly hauled a stool and glanced above: the ambrosial fruit gazed back at me flirtatiously from the heavens. Drawn to it’s allure, I scaled the mahogany bars and stood upon the gleaming wooden pedestal. I reached out with my stubby hands and snatched the jar from it’s aerial prison; my heart pounding like malfunctioning washing machine. Peering into the depths of the crimson amalgamation that lay within my grasp, I came to an epiphany — life isn’t about the journey, but the yummy jelly sandwich at end of it.

  33. Jelly is for children to enjoy – colourful ,sweet, delicious. Reminds me of the cheap green jelly I used to have as a kid, which probably had loads of bad chemicals in it

    YUMMY

  36. Jelly belly, peanut butter and! What makes jelly so wonderful? The colors, the clarity, the sweetness. We always have some in the fridge, ready for a party on toast. Plain bread? Better with jelly and butter. Sweet and fat, a complete, lovely snack.

  40. Blackberry is my favorite – the kind without seeds. Wendy loves her “Jamberry” book that I read her, which is largely about jelly. Is there anything sweeter & more childhood-ish than jelly – on toast or in a sandwich or spread on a cracker for a snack?
