  1. words don’t come easy to me
they used to they used to be
    easy
    my time now
    a reflection of jealousy
    lousy louse losing
    the mind of memories unkind
is there a reason or a rhyme
    to how things turn out
never; just a perception of what should be

  2. Jealousy is a bitter pill to swallow. It will rot the bones and rob one of their peace. How do I know? I walked around with that pill popping it in my mouth every chance I had. He had her when he should have had me. I thought I was better than her. How could he have chosen my sister? I watch from afar for years only to look back now and see how the pill of jealousy also left me lonely in this world.

  4. my boyfriend is the jealous type but i made him that way. He is honestly pretty laid back but I have been teasing him lately and he hates that. Teasing him whenever his eyes wander, teasing about going to the hair salon to look nice for the ladies. Now he thinks about it a lot more. Who am I checking out? Where do my eye wander. It’s cute.

  5. Why you acting all Jealous, Tone?

I’m not like that, I’m a peas and carrots kinda roast beefy motherfucker.

Well it doesn’t mean we can’t tryyy… she pleaded

Not in this lifetime. And not in my grandma’s car. She wouldn’t want to see you cry on the upholstery.

  7. Jealousy is unrightous to GOD and others and that’s not right.

  8. Jealousy has never been one of my common faults- likely because I learned very early on as a child to suppress my wants. I wouldn’t just give up what I wanted, I learned to feel okay about it (although, maybe not subconsciously). I got so used to it that I didn’t even notice when it happened; it was like breathing. Then, someone seemingly saw through that and helped me to see through it also.

I am dealing with jealousy now, and it is very confusing. In this situation, the jealousy is not originated by insecurity or mean-girlness. I do not feel compelled to make her lesser than or push her down in any way. I am not trying to win or take something from her. It just so happens that what she has is special and cannot be replicated or shared. Although insecurity is not what fuels it, it does sneak up, especially when it seems clear that she is in the right place.

  10. those words don’t belong
where once you believed you had the rights to say

    those ideas rung clear
    while you were there

    but never now
    will they be true

    we stand for no more
    no jealousy
    no hate

    just peace
    just love

    just an overzealous spirit
    in this brazen world.

  11. The angry fire in one’s soul. It’s all consuming blaze burning away the light of reason. It’s fuel? Ignorance and intolerance, a misplaced feeling of possession.

  12. Jealousy took their friendship downhill. But then then jealousy is at the heart of capitalism.

  13. It shouldn’t be encouraged to spread across our society because it kills the family setting. Lives have been lost all because of jealousy. We could progress beyond our current state if it weren’t for people being jealous of one another. We should just help one another up instead of killing one another.

  14. Jealousy swept over me in a wave of emotions. How come SHE got to go and I didn’t?! I got a better grade than her, and yet the teacher said that she did better. In my opinion, an A+ is better than a B-. And yet she “the O godly” got to go to the pizza party. I’m pretty sure the teacher hates me. I remained friends with this girl, but the teacher continues to make unfair remarks and rude comments. All that stopped when I told the school principal. She was fired the next day.

  15. Of course he was jealous, jealous of the responsibility another man had to take care of someone he cared about. He knew it was wrong to feel jealous in the way that he did, but he felt it all the same and there was nothing he could do about it.

He was especially jealous because the person he envied did not seem to appreciate his responsibility. Sometimes it was very difficult for him not to step in and satisfy the responsibilities that the other man was not fulfilling.

  16. I’d like to think that I don’t experience jealousy much, or at least that I don’t give in to it. It seems like such an ugly and self-defeating emotion. Mostly, it’s about sadness.

  18. Jealousy is a lot like jalousie. In sounds, but certainly not in the way they are written. It’s very clear that one deals with emotions and the other is a type of glass window. They are lovely as words, but evoke completely different feelings. That’s the ticket!

  19. “What is a deal breaker for you?” she asked.
    “Jealousy,” he said. “And possessiveness.”
    “I see.”
“Yet, without it, there’s no love,” he whispered, inching close to her. A smile touched her lips as she sipped from the glass and suddenly understood the burning sensation in her heart.

  20. She looked at him. Surrounded by women again. He was always surrounded by women. Beautiful women, long legged, long hair, young, upward breasts. She hated him. And loved him, too.

  21. Is Jay jealous? No. How could he be? It’s not like he and Pete are dating, Pete is allowed to date anyone he wants, any girl. So, why does it feel like he is burning on the inside when he sees Pete kissing his new girlfriend?

  22. The hottest flames, burning white at plain,
A face of indifference in midst of heat.

In a box, or a cage,
    It’s all been banished away,
So you say, so you say,
It is a relic of yesterday,

But it bleeds from then to here
    As the days become unclear
It is closer, yes, it is near
A stoic face still wet with tears

Soon your teeth grind down to none
Though long ago you’d said you’re done
But in the fire you see just one
A helpless you charred and undone

  23. he took deep breaths of air as he stood in the middle of the room, grabing the knife and pointing it at her. He chuckled a bit, what good was it going to do having a knife when she was aiming at him with a gun.

  24. There’s much to be said about the power of jealousy. It makes devils out of friends, and it makes fools out of you and me. To worry that I will take what you’ve worked so hard to have – I may as well steal one of your shovels to dig your own grave. Don’t be misled by the conversations I have with your wife. We are friends, nothing more; I figured my presence at your parties would add some color to your dull, gray life.

  25. it’s a curse a trap a virus. it will eat you alive. you want and want and want and the envy of others turns your stomach into a pit of acid. before you know it you have melted into a pool and that’s the end of the better part of you. strangle the green eyed monster!

  26. Her eyes stung with jealousy and he could see it so clearly. He chuckled at her childishness. To see him with another woman and be so brave as to watch them in the place he and she met all those years ago. But not brave enough to confront them. What a shame.
