401 Entries for “invent”

  1. i used to think that i would invent things, but now i’m older, and i haven’t invented anything. it’s depressing because i wanted to be a star–i wanted people to write books about me. now, i read books about other people. everyone says it’s never too late to be inventive and creative, but i think it is. i think that there is no going back to the days when every idea you had was the best idea ever. you lose that. now, i’m lost and i want to get it back. sometimes, i think about thomas edison because he’s the most famous “inventor” from my childhood memories. his story was insane. my story–not so much. all the greats were great before they became great in the eyes of many. i want that.

How can a good person give life to such an ugly thing?
