Humor can be a cruel and unusual joke. Humor is often talked about in reference to April’s Fool days. A day that some forget even exists. But then there you are getting yourself taken advantage of and you remember.
Dixie cups of ice cream distributed to all the kiddies at the birthday party, wooden spoon attached, swirls of chocolate in some, strawberry syrup in others. What a joy.
That moment when you think there is nothing else you could do, that you ran into a dead end and the world just collapsed under your feet.
Sometimes all you can do when you feel like this is laugh, have some humor and live a little. I can’t understand why we all have to worry about things and be super serious about everything.

With hormones, it seems like it’s the same thing, but we claim that we have made progress in medicine. It was very humorous what happened to Janie. She was at track practice and the track was a dirt track. It had rained the previous day so it was really muddy and slippery. As she was doing a 400 she slid and went flying through the mud. Everyone started laughing so hard.
I slipped my arms through the sleeves of the nondescript white jacket, and snapped the gloves onto my hands. Picking up a scalpel, I resumed my work of meticulously taking apart the eye. With a few deft strokes, I sliced through the vitreous humor and finally reached the retina, where I placed a single electronic chip. Sealing up the eye with enzymatic glue, I reveled in my first successful eye-correction surgery.
This isn’t funny.
