We were soaring higher and higher on our balloon. The destination was not important for me, but I couldn’t say the same about her. When I realized her only purpose was to get higher, I had no choice but to jump.

Higher and higher and higher. Nestled deep above the clouds. It took me 59 days straight to get there from the bottom and the wind was so strong I almost died twice. But it was worth the trip. I never thought I’d be here, but here I am.
Higher. How does one get higher? Do they walk? Do they smoke ? Do they climb a latter? People go to higher ground to get away from flooding… molases… things like that… It’s been a while since i was in a higher chair… those were fun.

It only took a quick misplace of his foot and he was tumbling down, a silent scream caught in his throat.

The edge or the top was just visible miles above her. The light from the sun was slowly fading away and she feared that she would be stuck on the mountain all night.
