I’m not sure how I feel about headphones. They make it so other people can’t hear your music (well, most of the time) so you can still listen to music when other people don’t like it. But I feel like so much of music is a social aspect. People can truly connect through it. Headphones eliminate that possibility.

under the sky I believe it was, well, truly it always is under the sky, I mean to say there was no roof between me and the heavens, and as I looked up I couldn’t help but believe that the heavens were speaking to me, or was it simply data at the end of a wire connected to my ears?

Headphones are simplicity at its finest. They are hearing itself in the design of privacy. Yes, headphones sure are a great development.

I listened to the drone in the Commons – not thinking clearly enough to write. Headphones were in my bag with the ipod; might as well listen to something that might make me focus. I was only October, but it had gotten cold. Christmas music it is then… dreaming of snow now.

they safe me everytime i try to run away, away from this world and into my own. i take them everywhere with me and i couldnt let them home, because eveyday, everytime i need my own bubble, around me and far, far away from the world. but i hate when they are messy and all in a knot. that makes me sad because it takes hours to “unknot” them.

I put in my headphones and I am in a new place. The world around me stops and is transformed into something beautiful. I am not just me sitting in my house, I am a dancer up on stage, moving so beautifully, magically. Drifting off into a world unknown.

I love my head phones. They drown out any noise I might not want to hear. They are convenient & easy to carry around. I’m not sure why I dont take them with me where ever I go, I should definitely keep a pair on me at all times. They should make disposible ones. God Bless headphones.

I’m actually wearing headphones right now. If I wasn’t, my brother wouldn’t be able to sleep, though I doubt he’d want to anyway. It’s late, but staying up late is what we do.

Headphones, they block out the world. It gives you the power to ignore when you’re stressed. If you don’t want to listen, don’t. Headphones are more than just plastic or rubber or whatever. They’re like life.

I screamed, clutching my head in my hands. The noise radiating from the device was beyond unbearable. I ripped the headphones from my ears, but the screeching wouldn’t stop. Just then, he walked in the room. The pieces were finally coming together, in front of my eyes. I yelled at him to turn it off as he smiled maliciously.

I love headphones, they give me music. Music that goes into my head making me smile or cry, making me remeber things I had forgotten. Bringing back mistakes I could have foxed but missed the chance. Smile when a song reminds me of my friends, my best friends, my sister:) the ones who make me who I am. I am a better me because of them.

on a bus… or in a car… singing like no one is around… sitting on the couch… heads bobbing… running… singing… smiles… laughter…. the kids sing like no one else can hear… when they have their headphones on! :D

When I put my headphones I block out the world, nothing hurts anymore, nothing matters, it’s just me and music.

She was sitting their with the headphones in her ears listening to her music peacefully when she felt this funny sensation in her ear. Her headphones had turned into snakes. Caressing her lobes with their fangs she froze into an endless sleep.

“I’ve looked everywhere!” Jake complained.
Ginny crossed her arms and leaned against the door jamb smiling.
“Did you look in Fid’s bed?”
“Are you out of your mind?” he rebuked.
Jake looked across the room at the small, Jack Russell Terrier as he lay watching them with interest. Jake sighed as he saw the cord to his headphones running out from under the dog as he lay contentedly in his bed. Fid!

Music is a wonderful thing. And headphones are one of the best ways to enjoy such a wonderful thing; they allow us to truyly enjkoy the music without having to deal with all of the excess outseid noise that you have to listen to if you are using a simple thing such as a stereo. Which is just wrong. No idea why, but it is. I don’t like earbuds
By Baub on 09.08.2012
The headphones were tight against the girls head. The music so loud the surrounding people could hear it. The girl tried to ignore the outside world as much as possible. Her music helped her do so. Time seemed to go on forever for the girl when she was lost in her lyrics and tunes, and beats.

My headphones roared with the sounds of beyonce’s tunes. I loved to listen to different music. Each noise made my mind bustle with different thoughts of different memories.

I listen to music through my headphone, my headphones are a way to live. They tell what is right and wrong. They tell me how I feel and what’s inside.

Drowning yourself from life and drama in the world. just all emotions running through your ears. music; life.

Music is like time. It’s easily lost, but not easily owned. Greedy people try to hoard it to themselves and make us pay an arm and a leg to have it.

I need headphones to wear when I’m driving because I am on the phone CONSTANTLY. I love to wear my headphones at the gym. My headphones have sweat stuck in them. I wish I had some headphones right now. Mike always has his headphones on, damnit.

Headphones are amazing. I think everyone loves headphones. Headphones come in handy. If you’re with people you hate, you can easily just put in some headphones and ignore them. Or if you’re in class, there are many ways you can listen without getting caught.

I couldn’t hear anything with my headphones on. Not the screams from downstairs, not the thundering footsteps up and down and all around the house, not even the roaring from my father. Every note of sanity rang tried and true in my ears, and sometimes, I could only wish that the music deafened me. So that the last sound I’d hear, instead of my mother cussing out my brother and my father throwing chairs, was a screeching chorus.

I wear my headphones for silence. I wear my headphones to be ensconced. I wear my headphones to be alone.
Padding makes me safe and warm and childlike. When music dances around my ears, I swim in it. It enraptures me. It was wonderful.

They block out the every day noise and distractions. They also prevent human interaction.
It seemed like a good thing back in the day, how’s it working now ?
No one talks anymore. No one knows how to talk person to person.

music in your ears. something loud. something soft. an escape from everyday life. an adventure. a beautiful sound.

My favorite thing in the world is when I truly listen to a song for the first time- lights out, headphones in, eyes closed.
Music is a beautiful thing. It allows people to express themselves and become individuals. It allows people to say what they want to say without the normal boundaries of everyday life. It creates another world.

I have blue headphones that are pretty and blue. I just discovered this site. I’m confused to what I’m supposed to be doing, honestly. My blue headphones are used. I listen to music. Music is fun

You sport those headphones around your neck as to not have your hair disheveled.
And you critique the artists I listen to.
