  14. earth humanity olympics and maybe space. It’s the big thing you spin in your middle school geography class and we spend so much time on it yet we don’t know very much about it. Who’s on the other side of it? Will we ever meet them? Are they just as meaningful as we are if they spend their whole lives in a small village while we are in the big city?

  19. i always wanted to have one of those big globes with the antique writing on them ever since i was a child. when i was a little girl, i used to just randomly spin the globe, and place a finger on it stopping it and vow to myself that i will go there one day. i have not yet traveled to the Atlantic ocean but i will one day.

  21. ive never owned a globe, but i always wanted one. there were these amazing marble ones at the store when i was little, but my mom would never buy it for me. i like the ones where you can see what kind of climate a country has or whether or not it has mountains just by the way it is coloured.

  34. the globe is something that you learn about in elementary school. It’s shows all the places in the world and is very helpful when you are starting to learn about geography. However, because of this i do not like the globe. I do like too travel, but the globe is best traveled and not looked at. The end.

  37. I’d like to travel more, I remember looking at a globe when I was little and seeing how much stuff there is out there. I feel like I should know more about all these places, but I can’t even find a lot of them on the map, much less talk about their culture or beliefs or anything.
