136 Entries for “frenzy”

  1. She dove head first into the fraw,
    Flying through the air,
    Straight down from the bluffs,
Picking up speed as she fell,
Feeling the transformation from human into thunderbolt,
Until the moment she hit the crowd
At a speed that no one saw coming.
    The world erupted,
But it was that instance before,
    That sudden stillness,
    That everyone remembered.

  2. The rush hit her. The euphoria and then the frenzy. The half empty packet of powder still sat on the glass coffee table — the off color of pink where the cook messed up evident.

  3. She was a frenzy of whirling blades and deadly precision. And, when the battle was done and the proverbial smoke cleared, she stood there, her weapons dripping with gore, as the purest personification of death the world has ever known. The smile she offered me was wild, even feral, all pointed teeth and manic happiness.
And I couldn’t help but be afraid.

  4. I was in a frenzy just now after watching Cats.
It’s the first musical I ever saw at just 7 years old and it had been a while since I last saw it.
Immediately when the music started I felt the way I felt all those years back and right now I just want to jump through the room whiles sinning about Mungojerry and Rumpleteaser.

  5. Craziness, absolute craziness! I couldn’t believe that she actually did it. She had talked about it before but then in a frenzy she really did it. Would she have taken the same action if she had not been thinking about what happened yesterday? Would it have happened if there were no triggers going on in her head from the vicar’s sermon?
The consequences, they could be huge. But, then there may be none at all. It just depends on how he responds. From what I know of him, he might just pass it off as a fluke and think nothing more of it. On the other hand, he just might respond in kind. He might open up like the unclothing of an artichoke’s tough and prickly leaves to expose the real heart.
It could be the beginning of something new and deep between them. What a change this could precipitate. It only takes one small step, perhaps on the heels of something you might never had imagined occurring. This plus that equals a volcano of beauty and transformation one had never expected. A word said, a memory regained, can thrust open a door we may never have intended and set in motion a room full of dominoes. We never know what tomorrow may bring.

  10. Everyone was in a frenzy, yelling and running around, trying to get everything inside. It was pouring outside, and the wedding decorations were getting soaked. The bride sat morosely at the window, watching her perfect dream slowly fall apart. What else would go wrong today? First the caterers were late, then the flowers arrived wilted, and now the rain.

  11. Caught up in a frenzy, the maze, the maze, and no way out-
“it all becomes clear,” she says, “it’s all there in the twining branches,
helping you out and leading me home to death.”
Those who are sent to death find themselves in the right place as well, you know
Their home is made, as yours is scaffolded and shingled and hit by hurricanes
    And withstands.
Those who die, their fate was simply helped along by those who are forced to live
    With it.

  12. Sometimes the way life can get so frenzied makes me want to hide somewhere far away
drive and just keep going and going not caring and even feeling excited about where I end up

  13. I was in a frenzy. There were two men coming to dinner and the look on my husbad’s face told me that they weren’t staying to exchange pleasantries, no; they weren’t friends from work over for a beer. Ron had me in the kitchen making dinner for six, on whatever was leftover in the fridge. Something inkling in my stomach told me that after tonight, something would drastically change.

  18. I can feel the frenzy. It makes me feel panicky. Not the reason for the frezy. That i can cope with. The frenzy itself. That is what makes me feel vulnarable. For more often than not the frenxy itself is whst make people do silly things and whdt make people get hurt in the end.

  19. I remember, a long time ago, when the world as we knew it seemed to come to and end, and I was left sitting by your side, holding your hand. Please, please wake up.

    Please.

  21. Regardless of whatever todays word is i just need to write that ive been having a lot of nightmares and body horror dreams lately and that sometimes it takes me a few hours to really let those images and feelings go. I think maybe its due to the fact that im in the middle of tryin to move/figure out what my future is going to be and these are very scary things for me. Im very comfortable in my life right now, but i know that has to stop in order for me to progress as a human being. That said, this is lame.
