hmmm flavor. chocolate ice cream with those itty bitty pieces flakes of cacao inside that burst in your mouth and make you think you are traveling through a field in south america just picking the beans off the trees and smiling before skinny dipping in the river behind the tree line.
flavor is that little thing which gives spice to life. it makes everything a little bit better, and changes things up. flavor isnt just in food but art, culture, history, ect. what every one loves is flavors uniqueness.
I have so much flavor. Strawberry, banana, purple, green. flavor, color, beauty, happiness. all seem so entertwined to my naked eye. i believe in beautiful things and having flavor, and tasting things and in being alive. i think i need to grow down a bit and have more flavor. and explore more flavor.

She is as familiar to me as the winding path up the driveway or the specials at our favorite restaurant or the way she covers her mouth when she laughs. She tastes the same – cigarette smoke and Altoids cut through with a trace of vanilla. Familiar, and aching, and warm enough to set me aflame.

My mouth waters at the thought of the flavor of ripe fruit, juicy steak, or the lushness of melting chocolate. Flavor colors our senses and not just the sense of taste. Think about the the flavor of a song, of words, of a person…..it surrounds people, places, and things in a layer of beauty or ugliness. Flavor is a perception and a way we see things. But when we strip it all down flavor is an impression and those impressions are different for each person.
