  10. The setup for the party was almost done. Martin looked around at his brightly coloured decorations, and smiled, because he knew this Halloween was going to be remembered. By everyone. Including Marcey. Including Joanne. Including Steve. They thought they could get away with laughing at his designs. At his beautiful creations. Something that improved upon humanity.
Marty had planned on having the last laugh.
And his plans ALWAYS came to pass.
    Trick or Treat.

  11. The world is a carnival. We have our celebrations and our rituals, loss and truth. Love hurts no truth. We belong to the celebration of love and longing.

  12. This is the day. This is the day I’ve always dreamed of as a little girl. I hold on to my puffy champagne gown as I’ve always imagined it would be. I feel like a princess. I feel beautiful, not pretty. I feel loving, and loved. I close my eyes and breathe; open them as the doors open as well. As I walk, I feel everything at once. I wanna laugh. I wanna cry. I wanna run towards your arms.

  14. I love the festive season. Christmas is a wonderful family occasion when we can get together and not feel guilty about eating too much!

  15. The air was alive with music. Soul lifting, corner of lip raising, booty shaking music. My eyes lit up with the reflection of fireworks of every color. The sky was dazzling in it’s fog covered spectrum of multi-colored phantasm.

My first festival was a non-sensical blur of my deepest inhibitions being released.

  16. I feel less than festive at the moment. It is difficult when you’re the one who’s depended on to make festive plans and then do all the preparation for the festivities, while everyone else sits back and simply waits to enjoy. One day, I swear, I’ll let someone else do all the planning.

  17. The time had come to start with the planning and the making and the writing of sweet DIY tutorials on the blog. Of course, the tutorials can’t be published lest someone see their gift early…but they could lie in wait. When did writing crafting tutorials become a part of the festive season?

  18. I was in a festive mood after landing in Trinidad, and I went to one of the many dance hall clubs that play good music. I had a good time wining and dining up until ten in the night.

  19. The mood swells. The air is deep, and your heart moves. It is a feeling. A community.
Hand in hand with the soul you want to meet.
A celebration of everything in between.

  20. As fall fades to winter, the colours fade from bright red to a dull yellow. Childhood innocence is lost with the excitement of life.

    by Kate on 10.05.2013
  21. It is a festive season. Everybody is celebrating. They are reveling in debt, in the misery and poverty of life. They are celebrating attachment and emotional cost. And yet, I’m not sure if they are enjoying the festivities, because if they did, they would seek more consciously. And I don’t think they are.

  22. I feel best during the holidays. I don’t know if it’s the good feeling that people inevitably have during the holidays, or if I just like eating holiday food. Either way, I’m my best self from October 31st to January 1st.

  23. Festive….parties, holidays, getting dressed and dolled up and caught up in the spirit of celebration…grand gowns and fancy dress and mannerisms of times past. Feeling giddy and excited as the collective emotions excite every neuron; diffusing through every fiber of your being…..the party; the festivities….await.

  24. Baekhyun walked around aimlessly. It seems that everyone was having a fun time at the celebration of their 12th win for ‘Growl’ and he wanted to join in but he was too busy looking for a very important giant.
