  1. eyeliner, eyeliner, eyeliner. Thick, black, accompanied my clumped mascara. Her eye was green but it was an eye whose beauty was wasted on someone who knew and could be nothing else but beautiful, and this combination of beauty, trashiness and incomprehension created something not worth looking at.

  2. im wearing it :) I love it. Really defines my eyes in a new way. Use it ever since I got contacts along with mascara. I like REVELON brand wise.

    by Lexie on 05.06.2011
  3. i use eyeliner almost everyday. sometimes its smudges and it annoys me. i only use black, but i wish i looked good with other colors. like blue or green. i usually get mine from target. OH sparkly eyeliner is cool too but yet another kind that doesn’t work for me. it’s not a necessity though, you can look good without it.

  4. eyeliner is most girls’ best friend. they discover it in about 6th or 7th grade, think it makes them look awsome and wear it every day. and if they have to go out of the house with out it then they’ll just “die”. i am over eyeliner and think its overrated. :) the end.

  5. Eyeliner is something that is generally dark and is used by both males and females. A type of make-up that sometimes does the opposite of what it’s supposed to do. I ten to notice the area around the eyes instead of the eyes themselves…It’s kind of irritating to say the least, especially if it’s not applied well.

  6. Black slashes across his face with streaks of colours beside it, glorious blues; shimmering golds and the slightest hint of red. This was where he had control. And to be honest, he loved it. He loved the apprehensive looks, the hidden but interested stares.

  7. The thick eyeliner was black as night against her pale skin. It environed her eyes like a mask. A mask to hide what she has become. No one would know. No one would ever know what happened to her.

  8. Is something that I don’t usually wear. My sister Jessica doesn’t trust men who wear eyeliner even though her fiance Mike would look pretty good in it. Fake eyelashes are the way to go. Very glamorous and look amazing.

  9. I won’t never use eyeliner, I always touch my eyes and every time I have worned in the past the eyeliner, my face looks like a mask, another good reason for not to wear eyeliner is that you never know when you are gonna cry, of joy of of sadness, and again your face would look like a mask

    by mari on 05.06.2011
  10. It outlines eyes. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make those show up more but sometimes you miss the point with it. Eyes are beautiful and people should be looking into them. But sometimes you notice the make-up more then the eyes…

  11. The thick make-up surrounded her eyes like a mask. A mask to keep them out. No one would know what she has been through. No one will ever know.

    by Breanna on 05.06.2011
  12. Is something that I don’t wear that often. In fact I think that men look better in eyeliner. My sister Jessica doesn’t trust men that wear eyeliner even though her fiance Mike would look pretty good. Fake eyelashes are way more glamorous and can do wonders for many.

  13. Actually, I am out of eyeliner. Ironically, as well, I was thinking about it this morning: eyeliner is (one of) the one items of makeup that, if I am without, I do not feel fully dressed. Often, I don’t wear it: I’m not wearing it now, in fact. But when I am in situations such as this, I feel sloppy, underdressed, and as if I look like a small child.

  14. She stands in front of the mirror, black smudging against the tender molecules of her barely formed eyelids. Some part of her knows she must perform the regime to stay sane. To stay true to the person that she was before the incident. Before her life melted, and slid from her skin in a torrent of acid.

  15. Dark, enhancing, mysterious. Cat eyes, night lies. Being someone else. Sometimes. Or all the time. Better than lipstick I always say.

  16. black, thin, eye opening, accent, outline, make clearer,

  17. Eyeliner is actually one of the only types of makeup I like to use daily. It brings out my eyes, other than that I have nice skin so… why bother? Some women need makeup, others don’t. Some women never have to diet… I do. There’s your karma.

  18. i drew my third eye
    on my forehead with eyeliner
    the other day
    hoping to find out why
you are so good at making me feel like shit

    keep talking bullshit
    it fertilizes my fits
i will always care about you
    but now i choose quit
    no restart
    no back to menu
leave me alone for a little bit
though i don’t want you to

    its funny how sometimes
    what we need
    isn’t what we want

if it was up to me
    i’d start over blank
    so we could write everything
    in a different font
    and change our minds
    and decide to love
    instead of fear

    we bath ourselves in insecure
when all we really need is a change of clothes
    a change of fright
because we’ll always be afraid of something
but why not take each other off the list tonight
    and stand toe to toe
because i know i can be a little crazy from time to time
    but i care about you
    so much that sometimes
i want to wrap my head around you
and ask why you don’t care about me too

sometimes love is a one way street
    and its hard to accept
that you will never meet back up
with everything you just gave out
like when you gave out from under me
and let me drop like a penny in a well
but no wishes will stop my pouting

i need to learn to do it alone
    send you light and love
    then let it go
    just let it go
    go.

  19. her eyes were red from the tears now rolling down her cheeks. Eyeliner streamed down as well, making her look like some sort of disfigured raccoon. She sast alone on a public bathroom floor, her back to the locked door.
SOmeone banged on the door, jolting her from her trance.
“GO AWAY” SHe screamed. Her voice cracked.

  20. i personally don’t like eyeliner. i find that i’m more apt to poke my eye out with it than anything remotely …well. looking good. something. but then i see all of these magazine divas with their eyes looking so fabulous with that little cats eye curl at the end and i am terribly envious because i like my eyes and want to make them pop as much as possible.

  21. Eyeliner. You keep wooing me.
    It’s not so much wooing.
I’m never going to lose you. It’s you, I think it’s you doing these things to make sure I’ll always want to be kept.
I guess we both do that.
This song reminds me of you, but only the first part. Strobe. Before the beats start. That’s how much you mean to me. The first part is everlasting summer, the very beginning, all those moments, “Wow, amazing.” Or wow, “I’m amazing.” Because you are an artist who painted me in.
Then around 1:13, it plays a little different tune, something new.
Are we bestfriends? Snowcones in the rain.
It keeps going like that, and changes a little after 1:50.
And that’s everything. Then there’s that one constraining pipe sounding thing, then around 2:39 there’s explosions. I’m sure you aware I’m suicidal.
That’s everything that’s not so good. But the same beat keeps playing, the same sound. Because that doesn’t change, it just goes along, we’re still the same, when everything else is going against us.
The rest is everything that we’re going to do.
This definitely has nothing to do, with eyeliner.

  22. Eye liner is used by women to line their eyes. Strange huh? Rockstars and emos tend to too. Why I’ll never know. Never been one for it myself. Not into tattoos or eggs either. Why talk about eggs? Something to do with the ‘E’s i guess. Thats another thing I don’t get. Drugs. Why take it? Life is good enough without them. For me at least. I always had a goo child hood. Lucky I guess.

  23. Well, I’m a guy, and I honestly don’t know too much about eyeliner. [Or makeup at all, for that matter.] Anyways, some girls use too much eyeliner and end up looking like raccoons. It’s a type of makeup to uh, line your eyes with? Usually it’s black, but I haven’t heard of any other kind. It’s sort of like mascara. Most men don’t use it, except I’ve seen in the emo/scene trends different guys who wear it.

  24. A woman’s eyeliner tells you more about her, than her pinky finger nail. You won’t notice its seductive quality. But her eyes will draw you in subtly. Then you’ll wonder where you went wrong. What she got you with. Then you’ll look under her lids and into her eyes. Not those eyes. Through her pupils. All the way to her fovea.

  25. Shit. I poked myself in the eye again. Just one more thing to go wrong on the way to the meeting I was already late for. Not only was my outfit ruined by a coffee spill, my hair messed up by the wind on my broken convertible, but now I was driving blind.

  26. I never understand when people say they hate that guys wear eyeliner. Sometimes it suits them. Rockstars wear them. Adam Lambert wears it, albeit sometime too much. I don’t wear as much anymore, but it’s still nice to know that it looks good. Too dark and it looks bad.

  30. She smeared the stuff across her eyes and looked even more like a raccoon than James had said. It was something for her to hide behind, something for her to cover herself with. And by blackening her eyes, it was easy to feel she had a shield protecting her from the unwanted stares of those she didn’t like.

  31. eyeliner. a dark “magic” marker that makes our eyes glitter even more fabulously. do we even need that? i mean it’s makeup on a stick. yes, i have used it, but i don’t everyday. we are all beautiful inside and out, we don’t need cosmetic crayons to stand out.

  32. Carmelia carefully put on her makeup, having to stop almost constantly to steady her shaking hands.
She was nervous, more nervous than at her coming out ceremony, or when she hosted her first ball.
But that was alright, she supposed, applying a wisp of eyeliner below her eye, and a thicker stripe above it. She switched to the other eye. Tonight, there was a lot more at stake than just her dignity.
She set down the makeup and smiled confidently at herself in the mirror. Tonight, she would bring those bastards to their knees.

  33. Eyeliner
    Worn by many
    who don’t actually need it

    WHY?!?
    Why hide your own beauty?
Are you outlining your eyes, or your soul?
    Understand that you are you.
    Eyeliner doesn’t change that.

If it makes you happy, great.
    But you know it doesn’t.
    You make you happy,
    Not what you wear.

  34. I wear my eyeliner black although people says gray is a good colour. Perhaps that’s because I’m an extremist. I did try the whole gray thing but it wasn’t for me. That’s it, then, I am indeed an extremist. Either white or black. Either yes or not. There’s no grays, there’s no maybes or perhapses. If I love, I love with all of my heart. If I hate I hate with every fiber of my being.

  35. dark, lining, maybelline.
maybe my eyes were born with it on.
    why do we buy it?
maybe mascara is her twin brother so they work together to frame the eye a picture.
    darkening, living, loving.
    yes.

  36. He took the thin burnt wood from the lamp, and looked into the highly polished gold mirror, applying the cooling ends liberally to his eyes. Making sure not to forget the long flourish towards the ear. Next he carefully shaved all the hair from his head, including his eyebrows. When everything was finished he knelt in front of Aros.
“Good.” Said Aros inspecting his acolyte. “It is time.”

  38. Eyeliner. I don’t know what to say about it really. I don’t wear it. I don’t wear any make up really, except for powder foundation. I don’t even wear powder foundation to cover up blemishes or pimples, I wear it because my skin get rather shiny.

    by Jamie F on 05.06.2011
  39. She pulled the eyeliner from her purse with a flourish that meant she knew what she was doing. She’d done this before. She could do it again. She pulled the lid from the little plastic tube and smiled at the needle-thin blade; it glinted in the fading sunlight, like it was grinning back at her.
