She is starting to plan her wedding.It will be either a very large event or a small affair, but either way she knows it’s going to take a lot of planning and there will be plenty of fireworks. She foresees a lot of arguing.
An event is something that is big and marvelous. Lots of people gather round, and then you have the event.
It could be anything really, it could be dancing fairies, or singing dwarfs, or any assortment of oddities and niceties in any order and of any variety.
I went to this “event” recently. I had no idea what kind of event it was going to be. My husband came home and was like, “you know that lady at work? The one I told you about?” and I said, “no.” And he said, “well, she invited us to this… event. I think we should try it.”
I should have caught on to what kind of event it was when he said, ‘try it.’
Turns out my husband and I are considering separating because he wants to get into swinging, and I don’t like to share.

In the event of an actual emergency, you would have been instructed to find a small gold key hidden in a Mason jar buried in the yard beneath the magnolia tree over by the bird bath, just to the right of the garden gnome statue, so by the time you found it the crisis will have dissipated.
why are there so many “important” events in our life? everything has become an event to people. oh lets have a party because baby said their first word. what ever happened to the small events that you just cherished yourself? does no one keep those to themselves anymore? why cant we enjoy the small things and let them be as spectacular as they are without ruining it by telling others and turning it into an event?

i love special events, they are fun and usually very well oriented, sometimes events can be life changing like going to a specific party can mean meting someone different and probably special or not. events are what define us

i can’t wait! this is actually going to happen! i’m so excited, this is just going to totally rock! we’ve got the caterers, the band, the whole place to ourselves…there’s no way that other school is going to beat us for best prom this year!
Chasing events is like chasing imaginary storms. You get caught up in it and have fun, for sure, but then you end up looking back and thinking: “What was all that really about?”
Everything is over hyped, and the real things in this world with value are often the little ‘events’ that are much more personal, like visits to good friends and family and the little victories we have during our days.
Realizing that, was quite the event for me as well.
There is an event for the fourth of July at the beach club coming up soon. I am very excited for this event because there are usually a lot of pretty girls there and a lot of great food. There are not any fireworks at this even this year but next year there will be. I enjoy events because I like seeing people that I have not seen for a while.

This event was unlike any other event that I went to, as was promised. I stood awkwardly in the center of the room waiting for something to happen to me, but nothing did. Everyone walked around the room excited going from booth to booth. And there I was,in the center, standing like I wasn’t even there. Like there weren’t people moving all around me, things happening and manifesting themselves all over. It was still in my center, and completely uneventful.
the event was definitely that. the family was dressed like clowns and the flowers were as fake as her sisters smile. the groomsmen stood like jokers at the altar and the bridesmaids waltzed like belly dancers down the aisle. the bride stood in the back, wondering how her day could be so perfect.
I young girl skipped through the dusty village of Karikie. The girl’s brown braids swung in the breeze. She sang as she passed the town. Everyone looked over at her, this girl everyone knew well. Jadelynn Deronochi, the young princess of Caslonia.
“In such event” someone claimed “we will tell him” I’m not inspired… everything got lost during that beach sunset, just when my destiny callen only to announce that he is lost, because of me… i should tell him, though

This was the event of the century. No, the millenium. Fuck it, this was the event of all time- the event to beat all others. Everyone was there. The vibes were good. The music thumped through everyone like something alive. We all knew what we had to do. We all knew what we were there for.

Our son’s detention in juvy marks a significant event in our life. The worry and wonder over the past few years have finally come to light and our direction is now clear.
