  1. we are now in the digital age . We have moved on from analog signal recording and transmission to transmitting ist as biary code. digits tell us the entire story. The advantages of digital over analog are the ease of readout and the reduction in skil level required The disadvantages include another system with increaded scope for error and energy losses (however minute) in the conversion of signal from one form to the other

Instead we had a guest speaker and got to actually have a hands on class searching through the registry and learning what kinds of things we could find there. Digital wasn’t so boring this morning.

  21. I am the Digital Skitty. What might that be, exactly? The problem is, the answer has been lost in time. I don’t even know anymore. It’s just a phrase, something that may have come from the games, may have come from the internet, maybe a half-remembered dream. No one knows, least of all I. All I know is that that’s what I am, who I am. It’s as much a part of me as my hair or eyes or fingernails. And that’s why I love being Skitty.

I pushed harder to show how deserving I was of their respect, but they just looked at me out the side of their eyes.
