  1. I am curious. Curious of the unknown. Curious of the future. Curious of anything concievable. I want to know…to know answers, to know truths, to understand. I want to be able to be happy with what I know and what’s to come.

  4. Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought him back. People say curiosity is a bad thing. People say curiosity is a good thing. The only thing I know is that it’s hard to spell. Oh well. I’m usually a adept speller, but some words confuzzle me a tad. “Confuzzle” is not a real word. I’d a little more ADHD today than usual, and I notice because I’m thinking about how I have a green tongue due to eating a fruit roll up, but I’ll try to stay on task. … Pick up where I left off. Curiosity keeps people wanting to learn and seek answers, but there is a line between curious and nosy, and it’s hard to tell where it is and if you’re standing on it. I think that as long as people can justify their curiosity with a legitimate reason, being painfully honest about their intentions, then they can say, “I want to know this because of this reason, and I don’t just want to know something that has nothing to do with me because of myself.” This is how you know if you’re behind the line. I don’t think I’ve ever had much of a problem with curiosity. I try not to pry at all, even if I want to know something, because I want other people to feel secure and not stray too far out of their comfort zone for me and regret it. I also really don’t need to know these things, and knowing them helps nothing, so it’s easy enough to just ignore.

  5. introspection and intellectual hardiness are hallmarks of a curious, exploratory mind. while some people see curiosity as a a danger (‘what you don’t know can’t hurt you’), in fact a lck of curiosity can lead to dead end, poorly thought-out decisions. wanting to know more is useful and neccessary in leading an engaged, prodeuctive and full daily life. Curiosity is a strength.

  7. I am curious about so many things and would love to be a life-long learner, but life gets in the way. I’d love to study archeology, psychology, botany, horticulture—so many things. Why do we push young adults to specialize and get jobs so quickly? Shouldn’t we allow our curiosity to guide us through life?

  8. There are many words that incur a sense of curiousity. There is a story behind every word, face, person… it really depends on the passion and curiousity of the reader or the observer to find out what is behind that person/object/thing… That is what separates those who live and those who live greatly.

  9. i am curious about what life has to offer. I’ve often wondered about the creation of existe4nce and why it is so controversial in basis. It is curiosity that drives us to ask questions with no concrete answers. Is there a god? Is there a reason for the horrors committed by mankind? Yet, it is curiosity that killed the cat, and we are a world of felines.

  13. Curious. That’s an interesting word. It could mean many things–both positive and negative. You can be courious about the world and that could lead to good things–better education, more interests. You can also be too curious and borderline nosey. You can think too much about other people’s lives and forget to live your own.

  14. Curiosity shows we’re alive, that not yet have we left. Once the mind places a facade upon you that you know all within the world, you’ve lost what you were. Knowing makes us human, the will to question; that’s what makes us alive.
So what about you? Are you still with us, are you still alive?

  17. I don’t understand, I thought to myself, why I was so curious as to where the snake had gone.
He went down into the hole, it was not a curious thing.
But I had the desire to know.
I crept down onto my hands and knees and forced myself into the hole.
I would find the snake and ask him myself, but the cobwebs were making me nervous.
