    Shouldn’t we do the same?

  21. The course of the car was unyeailding. The world seemed to slow down as I glanced behind me, watching the shiny dark blue volvo rounded the corner, rolling one of it’s windows down. It runed back to my front and started to run. Funny, I reflected, how the course of such a life had led me to this particular corner while this particular man drove this particular car. Time seemed to go back to normal speed and suddenly the car was right behind me. A baseball bat extended from the passenger side window.
I screamed. I had nothing else I could do, I certainly couldn’t run any farther, so I stood and screamed, hoping some sort of super human would hear me and divert the course of my life.
