  1. there is a girl at school i knew who always got bullied. Everyone disliked her, but i don’t know why. All i do know is that when i showed her compassion, the whole world changed, like a light had been turned on.

  2. Don’t just put money in the cap. Sit next to them and listen for awhile. People need more checks and a dismissive pat on the head. They aren’t a lost puppy, they are a person, just like you. “Poor”, why do we always use that as an adjective of the person not their circumstances? Because we want to believe that we are better, too good to be on the concrete. We’ll make excuses for why we aren’t rich (parents didn’t invest right, etc) but never acknowledge why we aren’t poor.

  3. the compassion can be so good for the victim or very bad too. It is better to have it and be a good person with a nice concience and you will be better with yourself
