  5. We have to claim responsibilithy for our own lives. Claim is a pro active term that takes ownership and confidence, because it implies ownership. You do not claim something that is typically not yours.

    It is possible for a person to claim a steak. Yum! Claiming a steak will be the most delicious decision of your entire life. Just think about it: The tender, juicy steak sitting on a plate waiting for mastication and eventual consumption. D-lish.

  23. To take ownership. Consent is not necessary and to often cast to the wayside. Be bold, take something into your own hands and claim it as your own. Claim love, claim a heart, claim a person. Or claim responsibility.
    Too often abused – Benefit claims and Insurance have ruined what should be a word for standing up and taking what you want without shame or unnecessary thinking or doing.
    Grasp something with both hands and make it your own.

    Assert, declare and maintain, this is me and this is mine. Argue is you have to although arguments and vulgar and should be avoided.

  40. claims are either true or false. sometimes you make a claim and you think its true and later you realize it was completely false. or other times you make a claim you know is false but you seem to compulsively try and make it true. i guess a lot of the time people have no idea what the fuck their talking about
