  5. I drew the sword from the sheath and grimaced. There was dirt all up and down the blade and what looked like rust on the hilt. Sighing, I grabbed a cloth, dipped it in the bucket of soapy water, and went to scrubbing the sword clean. Evan never took care of his weapons properly, so it made chore day a bit difficult for everyone.

  7. chores are typically arduous. nobody likes them. and those that do aren’t completing chores. they’re doing what they want to. a chore can be doing dishes or mowing the lawn, but it is really just anything you don’t like. a chore to me can be a gift to someone else. listening to music could be a chore. it’s not to me. but it could be to someone else.

  8. Chores are the things that will teach you lessons. Yes, your parents make you do them cause you think they are punishing you for something. Honestly doing chores will teach you timeliness, and will teach you to finish things to the best of your abilities. Just like your parents if you don’t do a chore right they make you do it again and again.

  9. Chores. They are invisible waiting in the shadows of life. Ready. Soon to pounce and fuck up your planned afternoon or relaxing weekend. Soon though, they will not be as much of a burden. Children are easily conned into burdening some of the load.

Now i accept them, just accept them.
Then they are no longer chores, just a task,

  18. Lucille knew that chores were hard work most of the time, though often she thought her chores fun, at least, when she was a kid she did, as she got older, the harder they seemed to get, and the more she seemed to have to do. It was not fair, but, who ever said life, or chores was fair, if anyone could say that, they were dead wrong 99.9% of the time, though they probably would never admit they were wrong.
