Standing by the fire, i couldn’t think of anything other than our past, the present, and the fires beside us, and the wind whipping around us. It gave hints, and secrets that we couldn’t tell, and it made me want to love him again.

  21. This is a part of your face. It is also that pretentious word Brits use for being clever and bitchy. I’m pretty sure they use it in Mary Poppins. I think the dad says it to the nanny. Or maybe the nanny to the kids. Whatever, they definitely say “advertisement” really weird in that scene with the kids singing about the nanny they want. Who is, I think, cheeky. But maybe the son’s the cheeky one.

  24. I stared down at the peculiar dish. Pig cheek? The man offering me the plate was a wrinkled man, whose skin was like a leather boot. His greyish beard reflected his age perfectly. 25. He had the cheek to tell me that my new haircut suited me. How dare he say such a thing, when he is quite aware that I find him perfectly hideous. With his blushing lips, so red, his blue eyes, and that adorably geeky haircut of his own, so messy and…
