I was chasing my dog down the street, panting as I went. He was faster than me, and he knew it, so he kept just far enough ahead for me to not catch him. Dingo! I yelled. You get back here! He almost grinned, tongue lolling out of his mouth, as he looked back at me.

i chased the car down to then end of the block and ate the tortoise that was standing there. I cooked the olives in the garden to make a paste that, when healed, ate the edibles. To write is the end of the game. Tomorrow is always the same. to go with the flow is to show the go.

So begins the chase, as he picks up the gun. His victim is weak, but his power is strong. Not one has yet escaped. He goes by the name of death, and he shall never be conquered. For when death sets eyes on a soul… the chase is on.

this immediately makes me think of chasing a dream. or a ball. or a person.
I have always wanted to just go, and run, and explore wherever i wanted to. so i go chase, and whenever i am done chasing that one thing or place or person, i move on to the next. for after all, sometimes is more the thrill of the chase. than the actual result.

Chasing a car down the street. How primitive is that? And yet a dog is overjoyed when he sees that boxy thing rolling down the street and chases it until his little heart is content.

The boy chased the man down the street until he ran out of breath and he couldn’t see the man anymore. He cursed out loud and sat down in the middle of the road. Suddenly, the man appeared over him with a gun and a shot rang out throughout the country.

Just in hopes that this will last.

And baby I’ll still be able to run.

I’m not even sure how I got here or why. All I know is I don’t like it. My mother doesn’t want me, my father… who knows? He’s too far away to even care. My heart is aching. I don’t even know how to define these feelings. It’s strange, I know. I wonder if I’ll ever fall in love again…

The chase began in a little town outside Liverpool. All they did was run, but never stop. They ran and ran, until they felt their lungs begin to protest, and they had to stop, knowing they would catch them in a few hours at most. They had no escape…. the chase was over, and as usual, they had lost

The chase was on whether she wanted it to be or not. I had already asked her out seven different times in seven different ways, and she had to get more creative with her answers. And the chase is only going to be half the fun.

One day I saw that guy I have been waiting for a long time to see. He vanished around the corner almost as fast as he came into my sight, all breathless and wind-blown hair. I walked as fast as I can to catch up, to finally meet him and find out why I know him when I haven’t even met him.

I have been chasing you since the day you tied your heart to mine.
Of course, I didn’t have a choice at first. We were attached. I had to follow you everywhere. I didn’t mind. I was happy.
Then I started to love you but our hearts were still tied together so it was okay.
Then you cut the rope. I continued to follow. To chase you.
I still love you.
I will chase you forever.
Kristine
My head swerved from side-to-side, on immediate loook-out. I scanned the area. “All clear,” I muttered into my “watch”.
A gruff cough came from the watch. “Very well. Proceed– if you dare.” The old man’s voice filled me with anxiety.
I shivered at the thought that he was tracking down my every move with a specially-made GPS. I slipped into an old, abandoned building. It had been deserted for years– not just a couple, not even a decade. Actually, it was a couple of decades since anyone even dared to walk near it.
Inside, there was nothing. Only a white, chipping wall with cobwebs drapping them and a dusty, wooden floor with many loose floorboards.
I gulped. I was on a chase, after all. A chase that would never end until I found it. Until I found the priceless journal that belonged to the old man I was working for’s great-great-great, and yet again, great-grandfather.
Surprised? You shouldn’t be. I was in MI-5. No, I’m not British. But they hired me, and as long as I was paid and there was suspense and crime, it was a go.
“What was this place?” I wondered. I found that it was one room, no stairs. I questioned into my watch, “Where is it? In the floorboard, the walls, some secret room? I just want to get this over with. If I’m caught doing this, I’ll be dead!” I managed to keep a sharp whisper.
I could almost picture the old man on the other side of the line shaking his head, smiling. “Oh, my dear boy,” he wheezed, “That’s what you’re supposed to figure out. And you won’t get caught! You are in Paris… there are fancy shopping malls and movies and other junk here. I think most people would want to be there, not here in this dump!” He laughed. I knew he had a point, but you could never be sure.
I stood in the building for another half hour or so, completely silent. I was thinking, thinking about home. Thinking about how I was only 21, and I should be in college with my best bud, Ronnie Walterson.
I sighed and I knew I had to let it go. I started pounding on the walls, hoping they weren’t strong. They didn’t look strong, but they were sturdy enough to keep from falling down. I used every centimeter of my strength in my body, pounding those walls like nobody’s business.
“Rob, are you there? You’ve been quiet. Not like you, now is it?” The man’s voice crackled.
I lifted the watch. “Yeah, I’m good. Why’d you call?”
“There’s a certain part of the wall, I forgot to tell you, that will trigger security lines. I’m not sure if it still works, but they installed it just before they shut down. You know, the building. Be careful,” he warned.
“I will. Over and out.”
I didn’t think it would work, and nothing happened already. I kept pounding, hitting, and scratching violently at the wall. Sweat dashed down from my face. After an hour or two later, I made it. I made it through the wall!
“And no alarm,” I thought, relieved.
As I reached in the wall, my hand caught hold of something. I pulled with all the strenghth I had left in me (which was barely any), and an old dusty book was in my hands. I had found it.
I was about to call the old man when the doors burst open. It was the French police, armed and ready to take on any exausted spy who stole a prized possession.
