  1. Champagne tingles in my insides as the moon shines lovingly on the dance floor. I see her silk white dress twirl with the wind as her hand encompasses his, and with every flowing step, I wonder what would have happened that one evening in Rome, if i had had the courage to let our fire burn a little bit longer.

  2. I looked at the champagne in front of me. My best friend wants me top try some but i am only 15. Next he’ll probably ask me to smoke with him and that is not going to happen. “you need to grow up!” my dad’s voice said to me. Earlier that day him and i had a fight. Well, if he wants me to grow up then i will try some. I felt the bitter taste in my mouth. Wow, i thought, this is fantastic.

  6. Champagne rained down on us like confetti on new years eve. We were in the middle of the drivers quarters, and Porsche’s head driver had just won the whole tournament. To say they were excited was an understatement. Everyone was running towards the race track where the driver would be given his trophy. I stayed behind, knowing, that if I went, I would die. Just as surely, as everyone already out there would. What they didn’t know was that as they were racing to the track, the bomb would start to count down, and by the time the trophy was handed out, the time would have run out. Their time will have run out.

  7. My friend recently told me a story about how she knew someone that went to a LMFAO concert. She was able to sneak into the afterparty, and she said that by the end of it she was literally soaked in Champagne. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have the champagne inside me.

  14. You sip from your glass and slowly watch the two of them together.

He has her arm wrapped around her shoulders and he raises a toast.

    “To us.”

You raise your glass, but trying to remain expressionless, trying not to feel what strongly sounds like resentment, as he brings the glass to the girl’s lips, smiling lovingly at her.

She smiles and drinks the champagne, along with him.

The next moment, the two of them collapse on the floor, causing the whole room to erupt in a panic.

You choose this moment to smile and sip the contents of your glass.

    You drink tea, of course.

    Not that disgusting stuff, champagne.

    “To me.”

  24. We toasted to the day, not really the notion, but just the day. The date itself was something to be happy about I guess, at least- that’s what I talked myself into believing.
It was supposed to be some really good celebration in my life, something that meant I didn’t have to be alone anymore, but I couldn’t help but want to be alone..this wasn’t a celebration for me, just a date to remember. Another date to log into the books, and transfer to calendars year after year.
