she stumbled into the dark cave, her breath coming in short puffs. She had been running for a long time now, still unsure if she had lost her captors. She floundered through the water that had pooled in the bottom of the cave and crouched, waiting.
the first thing I thought as I endeared my fear, following a tunnel that had no light, puddles and rivers of water around my ankles, the walls damp and endless, like an eternal sponge. The ambience of this environment could only be based on the tranquil acoustic that echoed around and around until one’s head was hypnotically escaped from the cave that lay inside them like a belly ache.
It was dark and cool but not damp the way caves are normally described. it was cozy and dry. A good place to rest your head and body after a long day out seeing the sights of Kapadokya, Turkey.

Funny the word is cave today, as I just lost one of my favorite games, Cave Quest. It was a great game I really loved it. The sound effects, the journey, the whole thing was pretty good. So it totally threw me for a loop when I got Cradle of Rome and it was made by the same people! What luck.
