  1. The number of calories it had was said to be the same as sugar which really made me feel guilty after drinking so many cups of tea with it in but the sweetness that it gave and brought and that followed was special and I wouldn’t be able to cope without it now.

  3. Calories have been my mind a lot since the first of the year. I wanted to start watching them, calories that is. Sugar is my addiction. Sugar contains lots of calories.

  4. Calories aren’t bad, it’s the amount of them that we consume, that may be bad to our health.

  7. I am so fed up with dieting. Not the actual dieting part, but the part where whenever people find out that I count calories, they suddenly think it’s their business to tell me about my body. They think it’s perfectly acceptable to tell me how counting calories is grossly unhealthy (which I’ve never hear before, ever), and tell me that I don’t need to lose weight like they know my body better than I do. It’s none of your business, it really isn’t. I don’t care if you think I don’t need to lose weight, I for one know that I do. I’m 5’3″ and 150 pounds. I’m 30 pounds overweight. I do need to lose weight, actually. Don’t tell me about my body like you know it better or just as well as I do. It’s not your business.

  9. I think I eat to many calories in sweets, i’m thinking on cutting back on them, so I can eat healthy and one day be a bodybuilder, It’s hard for me because I can never get enough sweets, I need some tarts, or some chocolate, and maybe some cheesecake, to fill my bottomless stomach.

    A poet by Devon Harrison
Roses are red, violets are blue I love cheesecake and my mom can’t get enough of it too. I’m a bit fat, to chubby to move, i can’t get up to JT to give myself some groove. i’m not the only fatty in my fam, for Tyler can’t get enough of that sweet raspberry jam.

  10. the calories life wants you to burn
are toward what makes your brain and your soul burn
    those same calories;
    consume what you wish
    yet
    but
deeply pined inside of the heart resides a wish
    for more
    for endless satisfaction
and this fired-up yearning for what you know you grope into a miraculous turn out
is where your calories need burn.

  11. Calories are like dust. If you sit too still for too long eating cake, they begin to collect on you.

  12. Calories are things you count. I’ve always had trouble with this as I never seem to see any, and anyway, I think I prefer sheep.

  13. I never count calories. I just prefer to eat, fried stuff and sweet but now I must limit myself because I have piled on the pounds. The tasty food is always a no no. I avoid weighing scales like the plague.

  14. calories are something that i find to be not very important. everyone is counting calories and trying to eat 100 calorie snacks and all that, but honestly, looking t your macronutrients is like way more important. 100 calories could al be from fat, or protein or carbs!

  15. They don’t melt the pounds off, no matter what her mother keeps trying to sell her. The diets don’t work, but it’s not like she’s really trying. She just wants to be left alone.

  16. Her stomach clenched in protest and she had to swallow down a wad of spit before drool slipped past her lips. The ‘Very Berry Crunch’ muffin was preening like a peacock behind the display glass, tempting her to treat herself. Just this once. “What’s an extra three hundred calories? You can work it off,” it said with its blue-red cherry face. “No,” she declared a little too loudly before doing an about-face turn and stiffly walking away.

  19. You can not have too many calories in one day. If you do get all those calories you have to work it out by excersising. Don’t gain weight and lose calories. It’s easy to gain calories but not to lose them. Check your calories by looking at a tag on the back of canned or packaged food.

  20. Can’t keep eating calories without moving or they will add up. I found that out the hard way, and it’s not pretty…
