  10. She wore a bunny mask at the wedding. It wasn’t really a mask, per se, but more like a hat — just the ears and a furry frame around her face. It was that kind of wedding: a parade of pot-clangers, and kazoos, and sundry other semi-bohemian put-ons.

  12. I collected bunnies when I was younger. I had lots of them – porcelain bunnies, stuffed bunnies, paper bunnies.

    What I remember most about them isn’t their coloring or where I bought them or who gave them to me. TI remember that they always lost their left ear.

  16. My darling former husband and I called each other that. we did a good long run at our marriage and now I find that I mss our life. I m free now and I am content in my choice, but i do love living with someone and finding ways to make them happy. it is my greatest pleasure in life. To make people happy. Now I am in Alaska.

  18. From the porch I could see the little white bunny hopping through the garden. Only his tall bunny ears were visible as he hopped through the poppy plants and bean stalks. Stopping, sniffing the air every few minutes then quickly moving on to the next section of plants. Always looking for my carrots. This year I fooled him. I planted the carrots in containers, where he can’t no tget to them. But because he is so cute I left a small section of carrots in the dirt where I am sure he will find them as a thank you for coming back again this year.

  20. OMG It’s Easter time. I was raised Jewish and I was always terribly jealous that I wasn’t able to have any candy or search for eggshells in the grass. Wouldn’t you be sad too if all of your friends spent lots of family time with candy and food and nice clothes and all those things… I never had anything like that. One time I dyed eggs, but they all came out brown, and my mom got mad at me afterwords.

  22. i have two bunnies. when we got thm we thought that they were both sisters, so we named them Norah and Lucy. Then we found out that lucy was a boy because they kept getting freaky. Now their names are Noah and Norah! <3

  24. “Chubby bunny!” She screamed as melted marshmallow bits flew out of her mouth. We all laughed so hard we couldn’t breathe and for once, I was happy. Even though I was next in line to shove as many marshmallows as I could fit in my mouth while saying “Chubby bunny” after every one. The first marshmallow was sweet and softer than a pillow and I realized how wonderful being a teenager was… “Chubby bunny”

  27. My wife often talks about bunnies with fondness. She remembers her family always having rabbits on the farm. She said they are delicious. The one thing that still bothers her however is their death cries, a little too much like a human baby.

  28. i used to have a bunny, but it died. we let him out into the yard, but our neighbors dog jumped our fence and ate it. it was really sad. his name was charlie , and we had another bunny named addie, she went crazy after he died.

    Easter because when I was little I always loved to wake up in the morning and see what the Easter Bunny had left in my Easter Basket!
