I slid into the cool, sticky booth that was upholstered with warn black fabric, trying it’s hardest to imitate fine leather and look some what presentable in this town of glamor. I wanted to comfort it by whispering it needed not try so hard; it’s vintage yelp was timeless and just as accepted, if not even more rightfully belonging.
there used to be many phone booths all over the country, these days however they’ve all been taken away apart from just a few. These few remaining booths have been updated with all kinds of new technology.
I am at starbucks at the moments, but this got me thinking about the old movies with the actors sipping milkshakes sitting in a booth. Now i want a milkshake, and i can’t afford one from bucks so thanks oneword.com….. thanks
Standing in the booth,sopping wet after a night of debauchery you call the first number the comes into your head. The phone rings…you continually grow impatient wondering if this was a mistake, the phone answers…”Pizza hut delivery how may i help you?”
photos with friends. memories sept 11 200 something with laura and eleanor and heather. maybe someone else, middle school two bucks a photo. last day with remi. kissing in a photo booth is one of my fantasies. It hasn’t happened yet. i once purposefully took a date to an arcade so that could happen.
The phone booth is ridiculous. Why? Because Superman changes in it. What’s wrong with that? Well phone booths are usually all made of glass panels, which means you can see exactly what goes on inside. Therefore, if Superman decides to change into his costume, he chooses the one place where everyone can see him change. Talk about ironic.
Superman always jumps into a phone booth to change into something better than his current self. I wonder what that says about the phone booth? Does it always stay the same? Does it ever need a large phone booth to change into something better?
Of course, Tonio would be waiting at this place. This empty booth. Just like last year…or what feels to be last year. Things have gone strangely, and Tonio wasn’t the sort to break his brain about it.
at first I was like “both” or “booth”? Then I thought of Agent Booth from Bones and then giggled because I felt lame that that was the first thing that came to my mind. Then I thought of sitting in the booth at Pick Me Up Cafe with Calvin and Josh and writing and talking all night long, back when we were not so young.
The booth that the people mad was HUGE! you could fit at least lik 246p486849076985767498622098476825 million people in it. That is until big bubba came up. Then you could only fit 1 person, big bubba. Makes you wonder what the heck that kid eats everyday.
Sitting there, she was. In that booth. I wanted to buy a ticket to my favourite show, wicked. But there was a long line. I loved being in London. Loved that show. Couldn’t wait to see it.
I’ve been trying to relate all of my writings to memories, things that have actually happened to me, but “booth” doesn’t ring any bells, so I’m just going to ramble a bit. All I think of are “Booth” from the TV show “Bones”, and a Photo Booth. I really want to have a photo booth at my wedding. Now I’ve said Booth so many times in my head that it doesn’t even sound like a real word anymore.
there was a ticket booth to go onto the ferris wheel. up there it was so high and shaky and scary. the wooden bench squeaking under me as i looked out. the ocean was a huge blue, the sky an overwhelming grey with a only a strip of sunlight peeking and outlining the top of the horizon. I wondered if he would show up and take me to the house with lights and juice and goblets. I knew that wouldn’t be the answer to everything, but at least the uncertainty at the bottom of my stomach would go away.
you sit there. quietly reading while i watch from my seat across the room. Your eyes flick back and forth across the old pages of a book that had been read often. I can’t see the title nor the author but you are so engrossed in your work i wish i could. look at me. talk to me. take a chance.

love the booth, yearn for the big, semi-circle, plasticky, glittery, red booth that wipes the maple syrup that dripped from your stack o’ pancakes, right off. yummy booth breakfast. nothing quite like it.

I prefer them at restaurants. High, straight backs creating your own private enclave amidst a sea of humanity. Uncomfortable, yet comforting. I always imagine that I am in a more expensive place.
OK .. same as yesterday … still have no clue what to do with the word … it just is … maybe its a phone booth .. for the “doctor” … ha, ha. is it blue? is it bigger inside than out .. does it make noises when you close the door?
