Places all around the world that hold our money… whether or not that’s a good thing is debatable. In the current economical climate, they’re in a lot of trouble. If you ask me, I think a lot of bankers belong in jail at the moment. What they’ve done with OUR money, would be illegal if done by anyone else, but they still get huge bonuses and treated like royalty despite the fact that they have a LOT more money than most people in this country, and enough to last them the rest of their lives without ever being paid again.
Banks seem to be popping up quite often in the pieces of literature I’ve read recently. Right now I’m reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and the main character travels back to 1958 and deposits $1000 in a bank, only for it to disappear when he returns to the present.
The summer was hot and the children wandered down to the banks of their river. It was a plain river, nothing special about it. Nevertheless this is where the community chose to gather on warm days. Splashing and screaming could be heard before the water was even in sight. Kids scampered over the river bank and towards the water as the laughter of their friends beckoned them.
On the banks of the river, snow lay in an endless expanse. Where the icy water lapped at the sides, icicles ad formed like sparkling knives dripping with clear blood into the water.
The banks of the river held strong. After all the rain and all the mud, they still somehow contained the raging force of nature that was the river. They had been beaten and battered about, but now they could continue with a new faith in the sunshine.
Banks are good for storing your money. Sometimes. Occasionally, there will be a robbery, and then the last place in the world you would want your money is in that bank, but of all the banks they could have chosen, they chose yours, and now you’re broke and have no money because the bank robbers stole it. Should have put it in your shoe instead.
We fun the time to put our money into places that … Nah I was gonna get too critical. I guess the idea of banks are cool. Not web they ale my money from me when I wanna take my own money from an ATM though. That’s terrible. And highway robbery to be honest. But whatever. Some things I just won’t understand. Blah.
The place where I keep my pencils paper and hard copies of my poems… not so more people will read them.. or to save them.. but so that they don’t get burned up or lost.
Banks are a convenient was to keep your money safe and organized. Keeping your money in a bank can prevent you having to carry your money everywhere, you can have it on a debit card. If anyone steals your money, you’re in shit. but if anyone steals your debit card, you can always get another one and cancel your last one.
I hate banks. They are the most corrupt institution on the planet. We wouldn’t be handling the issues we had today if we didn’t hand over our lives to them at the beginning of our country.

The government bailed out a number of banks but the ones around me ssem to be making too much money because they keep building bigger and bigger buildings and lavishly spending money to impress others. I think that the banks should take care of the people with the money in them before being so frivelous with the money they have.
