  1. this reminds me of the brad paisley song with keith urban..not a huge fan of the song. I thought it would be pure genius with the two working together but it just didn’t really catch my liking..if thats how you say it.

  2. My favorite band is Maroon 5. I love Adam Levine. They play really good music, and my favorite songs are “Just a Feeling” “Through With You” “Must Get Out” and “She Will Be Loved.” I wish I could see them in concert one day. :)

  3. I was in band for 7 years, and played the French Horn.
Honestly, it shaped who I am. I have learned not to let what people say about me bring me down, but to pursue and prove them wrong. I have learned to love and be passionate, and it has showed me that I can really feel for something if I care to do so.

  4. The band started playing You could hear the drums and the guitars from far away. It was the kind of music few would enjoy, but it was the only noise that could break the silence everywhere, so they thought it was o.k.

  5. She had no expectations and no dogma to support or deny what she saw next. She hadn’t been to a church, so when a band of angels appeared beside her and looked with her at her body lying lifeless on the floor, she thought hmmmm.

  6. what? seriously??? i’m not even a geek but do i need to be one to know about it? maybe not. band of brothers, band of friends, band of anything! does it matter? no! why? because a band is what you want it to be; it is whatever will rock your world. a band is not only of music but of anything!

  7. we need food. we need water. we need music.

  8. I don’t like band. I would never be in band, unless I had to choose between band, and oh, I don’t know, choir. I’m not musically inclined. I also don’t like marching. Or looking nerdy in front of a football stadium filled with my peers. Dance team? Sure. Cheerleading? Eh. Band? No. The only thing worse is flag twirling or whatever the hell they do out there. I like foods and language and art, electives like that. Anyway, I don’t have friends in band. Okay, maybe two or three.

  9. is a fun place in which i would goof off in high school. since i was in the percussion section we always had loads of time. like once we made a tower using only drumsticks delicately balancing them one on top of the other. it was also a time in which i would do my homework for the next class haha.

  10. The band was playing our favorite song, we just didn’t know it yet. He grasped my hand and tugged me to the middle of the room. We danced. We weren’t beautiful, but we were happy.

  11. I have a husband who is in a band. A very talented band. And a very talented man.

A sexy man, for sure. With vocal chords that will make you go wild. He’s got rhythm and grace and a whole lot of swag.

He’s sings me to sleep. He sings out his lungs at a show. He sings in the car. He sings at the top of mountains.

  13. I hate the band at our school. They play well, but they really take away from the track and cross country programs… I feel like band at NB is like a cult. haha. Band geek cult. But they play nicely, never the less…

  14. A little metal circle, a Roman emblem
“Love is Eternal” is etched inside
From Abe to Mary 150 years ago.
    Who understands the concept today?
How can earthly love be eternal
Except that it be sealed in Christ’s
    Blood
For when mine own pools cold
    There will always be His
    For both of us.
    Together Forever
    Death shall not part.

  17. Band is something that is a passion for people. Band allows people to utilize their talents to play an instrument. Band is a team effort. Band requires a lot of work. It’s win or lose in band, but you do it together.

  18. Rubber?
    music?
    what’s the difference?
both changes and warps over time
    both can snap at us
or give us hours of entertainment

  19. The band was composed of misery, masculinity and monotony, in short, it was a country band. Their first album “My Dog Days’ Done” hadn’t done so well, but they were hoping that with a fresh look, things could turn around; however, one look at the tasseled costumes sent them straight back to the truck-stop bars. Fame wasn’t worth the fashion statement.

  20. ok

  21. Two years ago I was walking with a friend from band class, we were talking to each other about some personal things. Neither of us could believe how much we opened up to each other. We fell in love and had four children after high school.

  22. Band
I cant stop thinking about the music
    the pounding of the drum
    the vocals of the singer
it hurts my head and swells my heart
    with out music
    there would be no bands
    and without bands
there would be no life to live
where to go on a Saturday night? to a band rehearsal.

  23. sometimes when i go to scohol, people are eating up in the badn music room, by themselves, sad and lonely, rejects. people are judgemental of them, think bad thigns, be mean and say bad things to them because they thin kthey’re better than the band people at achool, more popular, more cooler. ai hatea that abut people and i wish they coudl be more penmindd, nice and friendly about the people who chose to be in band class, just cause thats what they like to do.

    by katelyn on 07.27.2011
  24. i love bands, the members are always so nice and humble.
i wish i could have my own really.
be able to put on shows, and tour the world
to be able to make fans happy and bring a bright point to their lives
music brings people together, and bands make that music.

  27. My dad never wore one. My mother had hers made over. I’ve lost two and am on my third. I don’t need it to remind myself I’m married. I got the husband to prove that.

  28. I threw my hand in the air. I didn’t care about the people around me. It felt like I’d been waiting for this moment since the day I was born. They were coming on the stage. My blood was rushing through my body. I loved these guys, but even more, I wanted to be like them. They were my greatest inspiration and I wanted to soak up all of their energy.

  29. The band around his forearm began to beep and pulsate. He knew he didn’t have much time. They had told him on day one that if he strayed to far out of bounds, it was over. But he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t die for his country and leave his wife and family for a second time.

  30. We stood in the garage looking out at the driveway, imaganing a crowd sitting right there in front of us. My palms sweated as I held on to the gutair.

  31. Blue costumes with gold stitching. Taylor Swift in her music video for “You Belong With Me.” A line of marching men with drums down a football field. Band of musicians at a school is what this reminds me of.

  33. I can’t do this not again. She held her breath as she stood before the crowd. She had been in that crowd just yesterday. Swaying her hips and enjoying last nights bands. Now she was the one on stage, she had to move these people, she had to make tonight mean something for someone. Time to rock.

  34. Mayday Parade released ” Oh Well, Oh Well” today. It’s not my favorite one of thier songs, but oh well, oh well. It’s still good though, don’t get me wrong. I love me some MP. <3

  35. something that marks another thing, wristband-shows support for something, or a style, music band, some good some bad, but they have the courage to express themselves freely.

  36. A band played, the musical chords swelled, and my mind was on fire. I’d never heard or felt anything like this before. The sheer power and adrenaline that rushed through my veins and through my soul. Like rain on a hot day, like sex in an open pub, like kissing your crush of twelve years. My soul was at home and this is where I wanted to be.

    by M.R. Butler on 07.27.2011
  37. A band is a group of musicians who come together to create music. A band can also signify something that binds things together. Both definitions are similar in the sense that they represent the coming together of potentially wonderful things.

    by Erica on 07.27.2011
  38. my most favorite thing in the world. the adrenaline rushing and coursing through these veins, even after all the world’s pains that they have put me through time and time again. i adore the coursing, i do i do. like a drug, heroin.

  40. It was so loud that I could hardly hear myself think. An hour ago, that had pissed me off, but with a couple more tequila shots down the hatch, I was actually starting to enjoy it. The chick I’d been hitting on for the last 45 minutes had pretty much blown me off, but her friend, who an hour ago I hadn’t thought was that hot, but after another tequila shot or two was starting to look pretty promising, kept putting her hand on my arm and laughing at my jokes.
