and at night i peed in the bamboo trees cause i thought it would be fun and dangerous.
it’s a twig that i used to crash into with my friend brittney barbieri. we used to crash into huge bamboo stalks on our sleds and once we found a carpet hidden inside of the group of stalks. the carpet had a mouse in it, so we decided not to use it.
My bestfriend Maggie went on a trip last year with the shelter to help animals she took me along I remember meeting this kind panda named Pogo we was adorable. Pogo was rescude in Asia I think or Austrilia one of those but I will always remember that panda and how he ate the bamboo, he ate it like there was no tomorrow
Bamboo forests are what pandas live in. They’re tall and beige. i’d imagine they taste like wood or something but I really have no idea, even remotely, what they might taste like. pandas eat bamboo almost exclusively, i think. the girl i live with referred to some place in her hometown as the bamboo forest, but since she lived in suburban maryland i do not think it was actual bamboo. i really know next to nothing
Pandas eat it. Apparently. Also, Japanese soldiers used it to torture prisoners by planting it beneath them so it grew through them (bamboo grows v.fast) or pushing it under their fingernails.
I think of the time when I was a kid and I went on a trip somewhere with my grandparents I dont remember but this little girl and I used bamboo and pretended we were sisters in a house just the two of us.
A few sparse shoots had begun emerging from the ground when I checked the pot in the morning. Finally, three weeks after I planted the seeds, my hope had been rewarded by a flash of green.

The long shoots dug into my fingers. I really hated this torture the worst–far worse than the boiling water or the freezing cold tank they used. This was plain horror. Blood. Sticky blood. More than bleeding I hated being sticky. Ugh. But I underwent it all, and they still didn’t believe that I knew nothing.
I grabbed my faithful bamboo fishing pole from the boathouse and walked down to the dock looking over the lake. I sat down after hooking on a warm and casting out the line. The ripples spread out like the sun overhead. The sun rays were warm and comforting, a trusting security I always had.
Shoots to the moon, they scrape the sky and frame my vision of peace and serenity. chewy. i envision pandas munching on the sweet branches. swaying in the breeze, fresh, alive, vibrant. Green fills my iris.
this is what pandas eat. my roommate had to buy a book for her english class called “eats shoots and leaves” and we could not for the life of us figure out what it could be about. then she bought it, and it turns out that it’s about pandas who paint in punctuation. how boring.
The bamboo was so strong I wish I could be a strong as it. I am lost and confused. Its certain that it will always remain strong and have the free will to grow. I hate you bamboo.
Theda slid quietly through the tall bamboo grasses stalking her prey. It was a frog this time, looking nonchalantly out over the human made oasis, contemplating the possibility of fly fishing. Little did froggy know that the big black cat had other sport on her mind.

The young bamboo bent easily out of the way as Engala shouldered through, his eyes intent on his prey. His black coat shimmered dully as the fading light filtered through the leaves above, but it wouldn’t be any warning. Three more strides brought him within range and he leaped, claws pushing out of his forepaws and his mouth gaping in a silent roar.
The bamboo trees lined the forest that was now my home. Nothing else seemed in place besides the sturdy, loyal shots of bamboo that shoot towards the sky endlessly. Nothing can go wrong here for it is my home, the only place that has ever been right for me and the only place that will shelter me.
How I loved those light coloured bamboo blinds. They were a symbol that represented my grandmother. The smell, the smooth texture of her skin and the cool wood. It was all a distant memory by now.
Bamboo is a magical happy plant, that likes to reach for the sky and gets really annoyed when Pandas come along. Them sneaky Pandas all come up and eat them. The other plants point and laugh, but the bamboo mopes about it. It’s a little emo, and figures it’s not fair they get eaten all the time.
The bamboo chopsticks were laid on the silk scarf like swords. Her alabaster makeup made her skin look transparent. She knew this would be the last time she saw him.
The panda ate his bamboo and thought about his life. Was this all this little panda would do? Sit all day in a cold mountain and eat bamboo, it isn’t even good for him he thought. No, I will go and do something. This is how his journey begain.

is something that pandas eat. :) you can make papasan chairs from it and staffs and what not. it is very durable. idk what else to say about bamboo
