I need it from everyone i know, mostly my mom who worries and coddles and would be heartbroken if i did something that she didn’t approve of that could get me hurt or in trouble and I also need it from all y friends who think I’m weird and then there’s the rest of society who i know is judging me but I want to not care but i do and i hate that but it’s true and i need approval from people and confirmation from everyone.

  16. We seek approval from everyone we meet. Sometimes it’s a boss, a teacher, a friend. Even someone ‘below’ us. Whether or not we get that approval can influence our mood or self-worth. I spent too much time looking for approval. I don’t do that anymore.

YOu place a large tub under the water bubbler, which catches all the water spills and solves the problem of water getting on the floor.

  24. I always wanted approval from everyone. I thought the way to get it was to be perfect. Straight A’s, president of the debate team, starting several new clubs. I was in all honor classes. I was perfect. But it never got me approval. Not even from myself. So I just gave up. I gave up and I feel hard. And that is when I got approval. Not for me now, but for me then. I was never more beautiful than after I died.

  26. To be approved is too be loved. Not loved like by a family but loved by society. To be approved by society, you need to be perfect. Look perfect, be perfect, but it just any kind of perfect, their idea of perfect. Also to be approved you need to be liked by everybody. And if they don’t like you they will shun you and pretend you don’t exist. That’s the only way society will approve you. But I don’t want to be approved, only to be accepted. Whole different story…
