  1. the alumni of a university is the studenets who have already graduated. it is very important for the univeristy or school to keep in touch with the alumni and vice versa, because the university should always look after its students and the students should aways lok after the university

  2. I do not know how to feel about being an alumni next year. Adam is, and he cannot handle it. What if I cannot either? He handles himself by coming back, pretending he never left. But there is nothing left for me to come back for. What if it changes me?

  4. Young and old, they stood at attention as the ancient tome was carried into the room. “Sisters and brothers,” the leader intoned as he held the book aloft. “We gather here tonight, at the stroke of midnight to pay homage to our predecessors. They braved ridicule and censure to gather and learn. And this sacred text was the first!” The entire room swirled into motion as the alumni brought out their copies. “Now,” the leader cried. “Let us sing the ancient songs!” They erupted as one: “Now is the month of Maying, When Merry Lads Are Playing fa la la la la la la la fa la la la la la….”

  7. Tonight she didn’t sign in
She walked directly down the corridor
    Parted the beaded curtains
    Inhaled the carcinogen syrup
And tried to choke down her smile
What would be her next customer of the night
Tapped his pudgy misogynistic fingers on his pant leg
But tonight she nodded towards another girl
Because tonight she is an alumni of the streets
    Maybe tomorrow of collage.

  9. Some thing to do with college. I’m pretty sure it either means a class, or a group of staff of teachers. I’m not quite sure. Maybe it just means everyone at the school. I’m so clueless when it comes to things like college. I have no idea. Maybe it doesn’t even apply to anything relating to college.

  10. I already wrote about this one in the Bender post……alumni is like a dyslexic’s way of saying illumin, which is short for illuminated in the world of grekor the magnificent flying putrescent, pubescent mongoloid potato. Only the flying alumnist of sheraerae with his various valedictorian and magna cum laude scrolls and sex toys can hope to pass the time needed to allow the potato the proper amount of decomposition time so as to be suitable for consumption by small, superflous, dirty, dewormed children. This will ensure proper re-worming of said children.

From Neil Armstrong to Drew Brees to the hometown family farmer, they are the people who constantly remind us that a bigger world is outside of West Lafayette, waiting for us to walk on the moon, win the Super Bowl, or Feed the World.

    The coach was too strict.
    The teammates were stuck up.
The scouts were close to scarce.
But those things just made me want it that much more.
    Because I like the impossible.

  19. I call myself an alumna, but the truth is I never graduated. Does that count? Can I still call myself that? I feel that it’s misleading. That I’m just another college dropout.

  21. Albert Einstein High School. I graduate from there 2 years ago and it was probably some of the best and worst moments of my life. It was there that music became a part of me. It was there that theatre became alive to me, but it was also there that I fell into a dark, dismal world of drugs, sex, and alcohol.

  23. the audience clapped with disgust as the man walked swiftly to the podium. none of them wanted him there. they all knew it, and he knew it too. the alumni was un-welcomed and uncomfortable.
one of the men sitting at his table, and an old jock buddy, yelled, “SPEECH!”
so he did just that. he firmly grasped the microphone and began his heartfelt apology to all the people in his old high school that he had bullied. which consisted of every living being in the room.

  24. sometimes i sit and think about when i will be the alumni of my school. i will look back, wondering why high school went as fast as it did. so many memories, and barely enough time until i moved onto college. my class will always be in my thoughts. i will always remember what people were the funniest, which kids were weird, and the time that cute guy talked to me. i blink, and im going back for a reunion. all of a sudden, i turn around, and my own children are in college. Then, i sit down and remember that thinking about when i will be out of high school is stupid. i should enjoy it now so that i will have lots to remember when i look back.

  29. this summer i will meet several alumni from the college I am currently attending. They will be snobs, because that is the kind of person who goes to this school: a snob. They will party too much and drink too much and smoke weed. They won’t take anything seriously.
    Or, they will be great.
