  19. I was almost good enough for you. Almost tall enough, almost skinny enough, almost pretty enough, almost good enough. Its that word, that one little word, that made me crazy. Almost. Well, you are not good enough for me. You are not tall enough, not healthy enough, not handsome enough…you are definitely not good enough. I’d rather be almost there then not there at all.

  25. almost describes when you are close to doing it but you never make it. it can also describe almost the other way as in, “i almost forgot to _____” it can describe not doing it or doing it, depending on wcich way you look at it.

  27. I almost placed at the States DECA Conference. At 6th place, with 4 places going to ICDC, and one team dropping out for sure, I do not know whether I will be able to go. I think that this situation is most precarious since I’d rather have a straightforward answer so that I can move on with my life.

  28. Almost, one time I almost got the girl that I always wanted. She was perfect in my eyes, almost made it happen but it didn’t. I guess you can’t win if you’re nice, I guess I was too nice. I almost wish that it had turned out differently, but she isn’t the girl I thought she was so I don’t.

Everything seems so close, so different now. He’s trying to wrap his head around it and he’s knows he’s almost to the point of understanding, but it always gets away from him.
