The company, which now employs fewer than 400, is the oldest in the industry. Airstream trailers are easily recognized by the distinctive shape of their rounded aluminum bodies. This shape dates back to the 1930s and is based on designs created by Hawley Bowlus. Bowlus was the chief designer of Charles Lindbergh’s aircraft, the Spirit of St. Louis.

THe wind under his wings steadied the jet and his mind. It had been days, litterally days since he’d talked to Casey. Longer if you conisdered their last conversation was about breakfast over the previous breakfast. He missed this one shread of family he had left . He had his crew though, and that was enough. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enoguh.
i always wanted to hit the road in an old silver airstream trailer, carrying my life within those shiny walls, no one to answer to but myself, or maybe a canine companion. it’s an american dream, of sorts, i suppose. but now i like standing still.
The airstream of the plane cut a wide gap against the clouds. Even from this distance, the message was clear, words were formed using the gaps. It said, “Run”
Airstream? I don’t even really know what this means. I guess it makes me this of jets. Planes. That kind of stuff. Like the trail of smoke a jet leaves behind in its wake. That some people write words with.
I peered out the window of the plane, hoping to see some sunset or some skyline or something. It had just been clouds, clouds, clouds. Plus a little lightning, just to shake things up.
(I didn’t really like the lightning. But the babies loved it, I assure you.)
I stepped onto the airplane. It was chilly. The air conditioner was always blasted way too high on the planes. I missed first class. I havent ridden on first class since that stupid imposter stole my place as a famous person.
ooh! is it one of those lovely shiny american campervan type thingies? let’s assume it is and say that i would love to own one of these in my dotage and have acquired the skils to drive it around by that time. i’d take it all over the world and be all lovely and shiny to match it.
Everyone stood in the playground observing the airstream that was being emitted from the aircraft but my mind was on the pilot, the guy behind the controls. He controlled the plane , he controlled me. Well I allowed him to , it wasn’t by force it was more like the water gently wearing away at the rock. A subtle , long term process but the end result was near total destruction!
airstream is the power supply of speaking, that jet propels shouting, cussing, and/whispering words of love and encouragement. Just as smiling requires less facial muscles than frowning (look that up), gently spoken words are easier to speak, just as they are easier to hear.
I imagine floating on clouds, like riding a wave. There’s nothing below and there’s nothing above, just a continuous, constant stream of this intangible force, moving you along a nonexistent stream. You’re blowing through clouds and sky as though they too don’t exist, as though they’re just concepts in passing that you consider and discard, too far above to be relevant. They’re just there, and you’re just here, and you’re moving, but are you really? Along a constant stream of air, a natural stream that stems from somewhere you can’t see, like a spring in the earth; you’re moving naturally along an airstream and you think you’ve felt heaven as you come back down to earth.
Airstream is the name of those old trailers. In fact, it reminds me of the old trailer that used to live in grandpa and grandma barn. It had two sections, and we used to sit up in the upper section, in the dark (because it was in the barn). I don’t even really remember what we did…the sitting was fun in and of itself. Kids, cars, garages–why is the car more fun when it’s in the garage?
The shock sucked the oxygen from her airstream. She had no idea he would say yes. Her body began shaking, both ecstatic and panicked at the same time. Revealing an aspect of her true self was risky. What if he balked, laughed, ran? Would it alter their relationship forever? Would they grow closer on the level of intimacy she had always longed for but had never experienced in real life before? Or would this moment end ‘them’ for once and for all? The moment of truth was at hand.
freefalling, down the slide and reach the bottom, lost, the park is empty but i don’t feel alone. the air is cold, the sun is hot though, i look at the sky and see the birds, they look like me.
Desperately, she pushed her nose closer to the tiny hole, desperately breathing in the fresh air from the outside. Smoke still clogged her lungs and made her cough, until she couldn’t hold back the spasms of her diaphram. Coldly, she realized she was beginning to suffocate.
Grinning she rode the air. Her bike taking no damage as she did so. She was free for the first time in a long time. All because she trusted a stranger. She had a terrible feeling though. What if he was wrong.
What if the air streams were a lie?
What if she were to fall like the rest?
I don’t know what airstream means, is it a stream made of air? like a river where the air can flow freely? do people go to these people when they want fresh air?

we will swim in the river in the sky, as long as you drown the innards of your body in these fluids. please, my dear, drink up. take another gulp, i promise you it wont hurt.
The silver airstream trailer zipped passed me on the highway as it pulled into our neighbors driveway. It was large and gleaming and looked like something out of the space age. I was only thirteen, but to me it was my way out. I couldn’t wait to see the inside.
I don’t exactly know what that word means, but I guess it must mean ‘a stream in the air’ or ‘ a stream of air’. It must be really fast, you know. Like, REALLY fast. A water stream is small narrow and gushing so I think airstream must be too. It must be cool. I”d like to experience it sometime.
I’ve always wanted an airstream trailer. I think they are totally cool. They are sleek, and they look like they’d be a lot of fun to travel around the country in. I imagine they are called airstream trailers because they handle the air well, meaning they are aerodynamic, and that is awesome. I think it woudl neeat to have one in my backyard as a writing laboratory. that would e the coolest thing of all.
Darting between the branches and out beyond the shrubbery, beak-first, the sparrow was bound for the space between break and tail lights, catching the airstream sheering off one car to propel the brave bird above the rest.
I was a ghost, floating in the air, always trailing behind some airplane, because i knew that he flew a lot, because i had met him in the air, because he just might be there, somewhere, but something blocked my ghostly soul form from ever entering and i couldn’t bring myself down. i trailed behind because it was all i could do to try to get close to him.

i love airstream coz it makes me feel free. I love freedom. Air stream is the expression of being free although i have no wings, the icon of freedom.

I open my mouth, the air is so fresh. I fill my mouth with icy air and feel it travel slowly down my throat. this is freedom.
