thread

What is the thread that holds your life together? The thread that holds yourself together? For me I think it’s my family. If I didn’t have mine, I’d be torn apart.

punishment

My worst punishment would probably losing my parents’ trust. Or love. I don’t think I could survive without those. At least for now. Maybe when i’m older my view of the world will be different so I can handle different punishments.

near

I’m near. I’m close. I’m not far away. From what, you ask. I don’t know either. I’m thinking I might be near the end.

discovery

“Eureka!” he exclaimed, bending over the rock.
They were out in the middle of the desert searching for the remains of an ancient creature.
“What a great discovery!”

answers

“I want answers,” she said, “and I want them now.”

“I have no idea what you are talking about! Please! Just let me go!” the man pleaded.

The woman gave a little chuckle, the first sign of emotion she had shown since the man’s blindfold had been removed.

“Oh I’ll let you go, but you don’t know exactly where.”

elastic

Elasticity. Elastic. The ability to stretch in different ways. Some people are elastic. Not just physically but mentally as well, if that even makes sense. Some people can bend over and twist their body in all sorts of ways. But some people can take any situation at hand and deal with it. And I mean ANY situation.

driving

Driving is the art of going from Point A to Point B. You are in control of this mighty magnificent giant hunk of metal, also known as your car. It’s your choice whether you want to crash it along the way or travel safely along from Point A to Point B. Alas, we can not conquer the inevitable; accidents may happen that are entirely accidental.

brick

She’s just like a brick in the wall. Another one of those mindless droids that follow orders without asking. But I on the other hand, I’m one of those bricks that just stick out, unlike the neat, orderly formation of the “normal” bricks.

canvas

Canvas. A blank cloth waiting to be filled up with color and the artist’s expressions and feelings. I am working on a painting of my family right now. It’s abstract though so the faces don’t exactly look real.

lock

Lock and key. Those two words go together as well as yin and yang, peanut butter and jelly, day and night. Most people use locks to hide stuff, or keep things secrets. Imagine a world with no secrets. Would that be paradise? or Chaos?

manager

I don’t like having a manager. I don’t like having someone to tell me what to do and how I should do it. I like doing things my own way. I don’t feel constricted by the bands that managers place around you.

level

There are many levels of exhaustion. The first and smallest level being that one merely pants, and their blood pressure has increased. But the highest level of exhaustion is when one’s body can not handle the pressure anymore so it just gives up. Not unless you’re a fighter. Fighters never give up.

boiling

My temper is boiling. The fury just can’t be contained within me. What has she done to make me this mad? Words can not explain. All i know is that I can’t think straight. I am boiling with fury.

wings

I wish i had wings. Wings help you fly. Fly away from what I don’t know. Maybe from troubles of the everyday life. Maybe you fly towards something instead of away from something. Maybe you could fly to a paradise. Wings are the tools that get you there.

band

I like bands. But i usually like single singer better. i don’t know why. my friends r in a band. it must be hard to write their own music and transpose it for several different instruments. but a band could be different than a music band. it could be a rubber band.
