Cakes, cakes and more cakes. If only I had access all areas to my kitchen, then I would produce more cakes than ever before. I would even sprinkle a little flour on top of the benches. Cakes!

The tailor just didn’t get it. Half the material was to be used as a skirt, and the other half to be used as a blouse. Instead, he was going around in circles with the fabricated drape, confused at such a simple request.

These four walls are caving in on me. Well there are many more than four walls, probably more like sixteen. But they all look the same, day in and day out. Being trapped is not a very nice feeling. Although it is much more preferable to be trapped in this walls that are at least comfortable, and homely, rather than stepping out into the big bad world which doesn’t have any walls of support whatsoever…

Play it or listen to it, it can be soothing or stressful, depending on the type of tune that is intended. Big and awkward to hold also. Makes you wonder if it’s trying to make your life easier or not?

No salt, no sugar, no sugar – all bland foods are considered diet foods. Healthy doesn’t have to mean bland, that is a misconception. I personally love eating my fruits without salt, my salads without dressing and my rice just plain thank you very much.

Her name was lola, she was a showgirl…
An apron can have many connotations, one of them being sensuous and sultry.
A bit like the famous showgirl, lola.

A trunk can fit a great many things, from a suitcase to a dead body. For that matter, a dead body can fit inside a suitcase, if it is appropriately segmented into pieces. That suitcase can then fit in the trunk of a car, and the car can be driven off a cliff into the mountains. Or better yet, drowned in a river.

Deer meat is widely available in Singapore, and considered quite an ordinary culinary treat. I can’t say I’m a big fan of it. They also eat everything from crocodile meat to BBQ Stingray. Now that’s something I would definitely recommend.

repeat after me: I will not think about what I am typing. I will simply write as if nobody in the entire world is ever going to read it. after all, isn’t that the point? who reads the stuff on this site anyway? What do they do with all the entries? Do other people read what I’ve written? Do people click on other people’s URLs?
All these questions from a simple word like repeat.

driving a pain in Mumbai
The stress of it all. Watch out not only for other cars but pedestrians and stray animals too.
Not to mention the hierarchy of vehicles – biggest vehicle gets right of way. Even if that means it’s a negligent truck driver who’s been on the road for 12 hours and probably had a few to keep himself awake.
A pain indeed.

It was blank. She could write anything she wanted. She would make it a haven of all things she found beautiful in life. From food to nature to ants. To her little puppy dog. To her wonderful husband. She would fit in two city skylines on the one page, merging them forever so that she would no longer feel torn between the two. A blank canvas was all she needed to paint her own future.

She thinks she can be the boss of me. Running the house her way and all that. Well, little does she know this kitchen just ain’t big enough for the two of us. No space for two bossy boots in this home. So now, the ultimatum has arrived. It’s me or her – you decide.

Boiling is how it starts. Then it either spills over and disintegrates, or evaporates into thin air.
Either way, boiling rage disappears into nothingness eventually.
Damaging its vessel and surroundings in the process.

Rooted is how I used to feel after a long hard day in events, standing on my feet for 16 hours, taking a break only to sit down to pee.
Rooted is how I feel now when my life has been turned upside down since I left my high flying events career.
I don’t know which rooted is worse.

I want to fly away from it all sometimes and just watch life from above. See what I’m doing below, observe and analyse, then decide if that’s the path I want to take. I want to see it all laid out before me, even the consequences of my actions before I perform them.
For that, I need a pair of wings.

She had a smirk on her face, as if his words were bordering on amusing. Little did she know that he already had a plan to trap her into his clever scam. This was just his way of showing a bit of charm, to set the scene for what lay ahead. And it seemed to be working…

though he’s a strong kind, he gets so frightened when he hears that rumbling sound, feeling completely alone and isolated from the world. he calls out for his companion but to no avail. he wonders if this is some sort of punishment, leaving him alone like this. after all, he’s only a little puppy.

Violet Turner, clinical psychiatrist. She was the one violently attacked by one of her patients, who turned into a psycopath after losing her own baby to miscarriage. She thought Violet was carrying her child, and ordered a home surgery kit on the internet. And then proceeded to cut Violet open, and ran away with her baby.

How could someone do such a thing – the psychopath ordered a home surgery kit from the internet and used it to cut open a pregnant woman and steal her baby.

i wish i had a megaphone in that last sixty seconds. I would’ve been able to give my dog commands from a distance. Instead I had to run after him and before I knew it my time on one.word was up.

She was the ideal trophy wife. Exquisite beauty, witty charm and impeccable style. Nobody who looked at her would ever guess that beneath that perfect exterior lay hundreds of scars. Scars that were her husbands doing.

…and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me. That’s not even true. Words DO hurt. Words can destroy relationships. Words can impact countries. Words are much more powerful than sticks.

Take a bow, the night is over, this masquerade is getting older.
Lights are low, the curtains down
There’s no-one here (there’s no-one here…)
Say your lines but do you mean them
Do you mean what you say
When there’s no-one around
Watching you ..
One lonely star
…you don’t know who you are
(remembering bits and pieces of lyrics once memorised!)

Everyone will write about this being The Last Straw.
Well it is the first thing that comes to mind. A powerful conversation, where someone just says this is it. Zero tolerance. I will not take any more of this behaviour. You’re skating on thin ice buddy so you better watch out.

Some people are just naturally mean. Others try to be mean. I, myself, pride myself on the few mean moments I have managed in my life.
No, that’s a lie. There are many mean moments in my life, and I don’t pride myself at all.
Because I was just nasty hurtful mean.

Bloody colour, not even nice, reminds me of that time of the month, wish it was brighter, redder, like a fire engine, instead its dull, sensible and gloomy. Reminds me of school blazers and boring lessons

The stem of the rose still stayed in my hands, of the rose that had once meant so much. In an instant, it was all shattered, the petals flowing away in pieces, like pieces of my heart. I clung to that stem, how could he do this? How could that rose be for someone other than me?

The nurse assisted with 36 surgeries, without the doctor even knowing her name. She passed him scalpels and instruments and needles, saved countless lives, and saw the death of a few too. But still, the doctor had no idea who she was when she smiled at him in the corridors of the hospital.

She craned her neck as far back as possible, to see if he was still looking at her. He was. This could’nt be the end. She just knew their paths would cross again, some day, somewhere, some time. For the moment though, she was determined to continue turning back to see him, for as long as possible.
