I was speeding around the corner and had to swerve hard to the left to avoid the cat in the middle of the road…it appeared to be injured as nothing but its’ tail moved. I stopped

selfie

A photo taken by you that includes you. Can be very self-absorbed, but generally a way to include yourself in the photo from a fun gathering so you can capture and be captured in a great memory. Highly overused by teens drawing attention to themselves through social media.

bullets

Bullets – tiny bundles of ammunition – come in many forms. Yes, there are the ones that you load in a gun, although I have no experience with those. They also come in the form of insults and sarcasm shot from a bully’s mouth. Those are the bullets I see shot in my school.

object

An item in the house that holds a special meaning. When held, you find it difficult to let go of, to put in the giveaway box. The thought rips your heart out. It holds sentimental value beyond the ordinary.

wallow

Mud, mud, glorious mud.
Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood.
So follow me follow.
Down to the hollow.
And there we will wallow in glor, or, or, or-ious mud.

The end
:)

slate

Take one. Oops! We’re missing our slate. It’s going to be a looong day, said Matt. He was like that, great at his job, but not exactly meticulous with his packing up of the gear. Shit. We left that at the other place. What’? The producer was getting annoyed. Yeah, I must have … oh yeah, I remember now.. We left that slate at the bottom of the cart. I saw

cool

The temperature is cool, not cold, just cool. It was really cold last week, and it’s supposed to be cold later this week, but right now it’s just cool — for this time of year. I prefer warm weather to cool weather anytime. It’s funny how warm cool can feel at this time of year.

responsibility

This is something I take a lot of responsibility for although I always tell people that they are responsible for themselves. It is all a matter of being honest with oneself and leaving people to make their own decisions even if you don’t agree with the decision they are making.

lord

There are many who would call themselves ‘lord’, as to define a station in life. Many will say ‘lord, lord’ and not enter into the Kingdom of God, for all that He has prepared for them before the foundation of the world. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Have you been baptized into the Lord Jesus Christ and received the Love of God today?

Oh lord, what on earth am I going to do?

I think this probably the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make. Do I stay, or do I go?

And if I stay, what then? Do I try to change things, or just put up and shut up?

barrel

She barrel rolled down the hill with the free abandon she remembered as a kid…this time though she didn’t get up quite so fast and run to the top to do it again…this time round she savoured it.

five

When I was five, I was a good little Christian girl. I sincerely believed that if I followed the word of God, I would go to heaven. That if I lived my life as a good person, I would spend it in Heaven. Now I see the world is not so simple. I feel so jaded. I sound cliche, but I have lost all my faith in humanity.

ground

Being grounded is an expression with unnecessary negative connotations. Staying on the ground, strong and steady, is sometimes the hardest thing to do. To be aware of your steps and their weight, to correctly measure the next one, it can be both instinctive and a challenge.

side

What side of the world do I fit in, the world thats full of hate, that makes me want to die from the pain, the sadness. Or the side of the world that shows me compassion and kindness…
I am torn between the two.

sonar

The sonar of whales throughout the ocean is miraculous. They can hear each other’s sonar noises miles away. Bats use a similar type of sonar where their eyes fail them. They make noises that bounce off objects and works as their sonar. It helps them avoid objects in their way.

distributor

i once had a distributor cap on my car that was constantly causing me problems. it would get stuck and cause my car not to start. I had to manually open the value in order to start my car. it was such an annoyance that i was very happy to see that old car die so i could move on to my new car. i don’t believe they make new models of cars with distributor caps but i could be wrong.

“Captain” Tony said, holding the body between his hands. He had never felt lighter.

“Stark” Steve coughed, and some blood spilled over his parted lips. “Glad you came to see me off”

“Don’t say that” Tony countered, flying as fast as possible. “It’s not over yet”

hassle

Everything is a hassle depending on who has to do it. What one might find to be the most natural and easiest task, other could grow nervous over and anticipate in fright, really, depending on their level of comfort and the importance the task holds for one.
