i wish a was a fisherman
sailing out at sea
breathing in the cool fresh air
and feeling completely free

swinging from the rafters
like a monkey moving from one tree to the next
he’s an idiot

what wavelength is your hair? does it move to sound, vibration, emotion? when does it loosen or curl up? the wavelength of my hair is strong but often takes long periods of time to soften and grow…i grow impatient with this process

I can’t write, no thoughts, for ages. Wrong. Loads of thoughts, too many thoughts, so many thoughts my hands can’t type fast enough. What to write? Something about doubled… my frustration has more than doubled. Ughh

The body was placed delicately in the deep freezer alongside the other fallen men now cartoonish Popsicles of their former live selves , expressions frozen into a forced grimace.

If I had a million grape vines I would be so intensely happy for the rest of my life. I would eat grapes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between feasting, I would work hard to create delectable wines. And I would drink them. With breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Chocolate plague. You can’t hide from it. It will catch you eventually. You will eat. You can’t help it. It’s everywhere. And then you will get fat and maybe you will even die from it.

Bronze. I was hoping it was going to be a colour actually, as I wanted to write about all the beautiful colours I saw today. It was such a beautiful day. So much sun, blue skies, butterflies everywhere. I watched a leaf cutter bee carve a perfect semi circle in a leaf and fly off with it. But I didn’t see any bronze.

Living in the city I notice all the lights. Even in the day when the sun dripples through the window I see the lights flashing in my direction. Flashing to you to come join the party of that certain establishment.

God. The infinite life…my life. My journey. My salvation.

Is it the end of the relationship? Is that the end of the story? Will time tell? Or shall I just end it now, instead of waiting to see if time will tell?

She placed one foot reluctantly in front of the other. The cat followed. He loved this time of morning, but she dreaded it. “Quack quack quack quack quack!” They saw her coming and began having their usual excitement attack. She lowered the fresh water and food into the ducklings’ cage and then began the arduous and stinky job of cleaning up their poo. Lucky they are amazingly cute.

Are you available to meet with me for a drink this week?
How about next week?
-No, think I’m busy then.
Ok, well, how about sometime after xmas. I know things are pretty hectic at the moment!
-Yes I think I’m busy then too.
Right, well how about you suggest a time then? I’m easy and can do whenever you want.
– How about never?
Oh, right. Ok.

Higher education. To study or not to study. Most of her twenties was spent feeling inadequate because everyone else around her had a degree. Meeting new people was daunting. The question was inevitably asked, “so where did you go to university?”. Ahh, I didn’t. Now the opportunity has presented itself, but she doesn’t know if she would be doing it for the right reasons. 4 years of hell, just to get a piece of paper?

we use bandages to cover any variety of things. wounds. scrapes. cuts. sores. boo-boo’s. some are real others are all in our heads.

I was about to begin a story of drama. A story of injustice, heart ache, pain, suffering, fear and loneliness. And then I realised the word was “turbine”, not, “turban”.

My uncle is a painter. Not like an artist type painter, but an interior decorator type painter. I remember when I was young he came over in his overalls and painted and wallpapered our house. It was the first house I remember living in. He was always funny, my uncle. Always telling jokes and keeping everyone entertained.

It is Saturday! But I have to work. Not that I’m that bothered to be honest as I feel I need to get out of the house. I try to avoid people too much. I like to live out in the country, with only the sound of birds. Voices hurt my head. Fluorescent lights hurt my head. Delusional people hurt my head. But that is why I need to do it. I need to go. I need to practice dealing with people to help overcome my frustration with the human race. Hiding will only enable my disfunction.

Hoops. They called him Hoops. His last name was Hooper. Everyone loved him because he was such a nice guy, and so did I. Our relationship flourished until he got bored and banged the town bike. Such a nice guy, really.

“I deserve better than this!” she screamed. But really, who is she? Some kind of queen? Why does she deserve something better than the rest of us? Sometimes shite happens in life and you just have to deal with it. Stuff happens for a reason. Usually, it happens to challenge your boundaries, beliefs and tolerance. Stuff is sent to test you. To see how you deal with it. To make you a better person. “You deserve EFF all”, was my reply.

My boyfriend isn’t a shepherd, but he is a real country boy. Can I city-fy him? He seems intent on resisting it. Perhaps it’s because he feels intimidated by city people? Let’s face it, the mentality is totally different. I don’t want to completely city-fy him, just open his mind a little bit… that’s all….

“I want to be with you when spring comes”, he said. She knew she was in love with him after that. He was everything she wanted. As it happened, spring came and they enjoyed watching the changing landscape together. Their relationship, which had began very suddenly and had taken them both by surprise, blossomed in tune with the season.

Suppose in that little house by the seaside, a little old lady sits, knitting. Suppose she lost her husband last year, and is feeling rather lonely. suppose she wants to talk to you, but doesn’t know how. Will you talk to her?

the deer have antlers. they are pointy with many little points coming off of larger branches. moose have antlers also. some compare jared padaleki to a moose, though I don’t know why. I really am not sure what the purpose of this website is. i just stumbled across it. that is all. longest sixty seconds ever. when does it end? what is this about? where am I? not even bothering to capitalize here until i understand this site. antlers are sharp sometimes. deer lose their antlers in the winter? or is it spring? isn’t spring when they are born? it’s definitely been sixty seconds. what the heck is this?

In the corner on a dusty table the was radio I had been searching for for nearly twenty years. I held it in my hands and looked at it. It was everything I remembered from my childhood. It reminded me of my grandmother.

She’d forgotten her roots. Forgotten where she came from. Forgotten who she was. Forgotten what her life was all about and where it was supposed to be going. So, she packed her bags and left. She got the next flight out to Auckland and suddenly found herself there in the airport wondering what the heck she was doing.

She had accidentally left her blue bandana in Sydney and felt like she’d lost a child. That bandana symbolised so much. Freedom. Freedom and errrr, well that’s about it really. She remembered driving around in the van, all over Australia wearing that bandana. The window down, a cool breeze and a vast orange nothingness all around her.
