society

Society is where anybody lives in, the one which influences him and he can influence in return. It’s either he shapes society or society shapes him. Or both. No one is outside society of some sort.

dilemma

Dilemma. The word itself is a problem. What do we do with it? Should we say it or write it? What about the solution? It’s just like itself. Of course, with a bit of dill and a dash of wisdom from our dear friend Emma, I think it will be fine. Once, of course, she stops panicking!

pageant

Beautiful babes turned into ladies too soon. Their hair and make-up disguise them for what they really are: young children forced to conform to society before they have the chance to grow into a woman.

straw

long thing tube that bends, also dried grass that cows and horses eat. The last straw, finding a needle in a hay stack – wait hay is straw right? Straw coloured hair is blond and dry, I hate when my hair turns into straw. Straw berry? why do straw berries have straw in them? they arent the berry of straw.

console

No one wanted to comfort the pain I’m feeling. It’s as if everyone knew, yet didn’t, what words I wanted to hear. Fake lies, fake smiles, fake comfort. Anything would suffice. Anything just to break the pain

complete

If I do all the things that I dream and wish to do in this life time, and I feel that I have accomplished all i need. Then I will consider my life to be complete.

driven

He ran through the forest, the thorns cutting at his leg. Gun fire echoing inside his head, the enemy right behind. Driven on by the need, the desire to reach the safety of his home and the family waiting for him.

gift

Staring at the hand held out to me, I felt fear, but as I looked into the eyes of the hands owner I realised that the offering wasn’t to cause fear. For what was held in the hand was a gift. A gift of new beginnings. I crawled out from the box that I had for so long called home and took hold of the hand of hope.

vase

Theres a vase looking thing sitting in the cupboard that I got from my grandparents house. Althought its not really a vase because it has a hole in both ends. But i use it like one. I used to have dried flowers in it, then incense sticks. Now it just sits in the glass door cupboard so the dust doesnt gather. Its probably not worth anything and its probably just a piece of something broken off from something else, bit because its a memory I find it hard to remove.

commit

There are those that continue through lives alone and happy and there are those that chose to commit to someone else. Someone like themselves or completely opposite. For me alone and happy is my chosen destiny.

pawn

In the world of the big corporation I was but a pawn of their direction and deceipt. The deceipt agains the humans behind the numbers they commanded. Deceipt to hide the truth about their lack of care about their employers.

fossil

You know its time to put the young gloves away… when your neice or nephew tell you the music you listen to is old and they ask you something like..
‘did they have that when you were young?’..
Thats when you know you’ve become the old fossil you used to think your parents were!

velvet

As darkness drew around the Castle, she melted into the night. Wrapped in a black velvet cape that camouflaged her from sight. Riding away to meet her love. To leave the pain of the tortured kingdom now over run by her uncles jackles. Now she would be free.

beach

The snow white sand that lay silent along the waters edge, was nothing like the horrific sight that lay still upon in. The beach was littlered with bodies of helplesss whales. Those that cared carried water tirelessly from the lapping waves to wetten their sun drying skin. Those that were afraid stood back and looked on with sadness. What drew them hear to the human world.. no one knows.

science

The day began like no other. Dark cloud lit the skies with a dullness that ripped through the mind and a red glow floated across from the suns rays. She felt as though she was awakening to a page in a science fiction book.

suit

Looking into the mirror , wondering what the monotony of the day would bring. Waking, showering and adorning the “suit”.. a symbol of the robotic society we all have to live in to survive.

starlight

She was young and curious and strangely unlike the other villagers. The moon wrapped her beauty in its glow; the starlight no comparison to the light that shone from her eyes… a light that was youth, innocence, warmth and love.

century

So few will fumble their way through a century of living, loving and learning. But if they do.. is it lifetime of past regret and sadness… or one filled with dreams and hope of another century filled with more of what has passed.

train

the sequence glistened as the sun warmed its way through the tiny stained glass window. The beauty that walked before was magnificent, but the train of the wedding dress shone the love that had been sewn into it, by what can only be shown through the love of a mothers hands.

bow

He turned to the audience and took a bow in acknowledgement of the applause. Then turning back to the target ,near the waters edge, he raised his bow , aimed and shot. Unfortunately the shot was long and wide and the arrow went flying over the water and hit the bow of the boat. OMG to bow or not to bow.. what is the question?

pillar

He was a pillar amongst the township. He cared for the animals of the forest, who appeared to be drawn to his gentleness. They had no fear of him. Just like his fellow townfolk. He was loved by all.

cowboy

I was loved a boy from cowboy land. He broke my heart, but Jesus put it back together. I still love cowboys, except not cowboys. I like Southern boys more than cowboys.

discipline

I need more discipline in my life if I want to achieve more. Self control is so important because without it you succumb to grossness and things that just aren’t as satisfying without the discipline.

holiday

holiday in paris would be a lovely thing. all the lights, the fashion, the loveliness, the romance. but how romantic is a place if you’re constantly breathing in secondhand smoke? probably not terribly. perhaps someplace pristine would be more romantic. sweden pherhaps for the aurora borealis?
