apologetic

Apologies don’t mean a thing no matter how apologetic you are. If you made the mistake, you meant to make the mistake. Don’t apologize for how you feel or what you did wrong. It won’t get you anywhere. It didn’t get my cheating ex anywhere or my absent father. It’s just a way of trying to make yourself feel better.

stilts

Houses on river banks are built on stilts to avoid water from flooding the hose.
some clowns walk on stilts in funfair to scare people off…

setting

the setting is where whatever is going on in a story takes place. the setting can have many variations. sometimes it can be outside or sometimes it can be inside. i imagine the setting to always be beautiful…i don’t know why, i just do. the setting is actually one of the most important parts of telling a story. the setting can make or break a story. depending on where it is can change the perception of a person. the setting is very important, as i said before. and like i said before, there are many different settings that are possible.

given

i was given a large envelope at the end of the night containing a sum of money and a note, saying how glad someone was to know me. The note was not addressed to me, and i doubt it was intended for me either. Which made me wonder about the money- I was supposed to be paid for the exhibit, but the whole thing was just very confusing.

remember

Remembering things is important. Contributing to one’s memories, which are held most dear by many. One must remember the past in order to learn from one’s mistakes and short comings. One must also remember those who have passed on, both in death and in life’s travels.

acoustic

Acoustic music is something that’s much more personal that electronic music. It seems closer. Songs that you’ve heard a million times in their original form can sound totally different and emotional and close to the heart when it’s played acoustically. When I hear acoustic I think of the 3 AM by Matchbox 20 preformed acoustically by their main singer, and it is amazingly touching. It’s a great form of music.

deadline

I don’t know why I do this to myself. I look around at other things and don’t understand what I see. Even though I try to so much.
As I watch the deadline creep closer I realize I still don’t understand at all. Not one bit.

banjo

Banjos are pretty pimp.
I wish I could play one.
They’re like.. better then toothpaste. Which is pretty hard to beat.
And now my time is running out and I can’t think of anything.

root

the tree’s root lifted the pavement in cracks. the children who rode bikes through the area had to stop and get off, walk over the bump, and then continue riding. but it was by far the place with the most character in the entire neighborhood. and even though it sometimes bothered the kids, it brought more interest than anger.

myth

Is it true that I can be inside of you, live inside your world, your beautiful mind? Is love a mythology? Am I just a victim?
