It was revealed to me, as I suddenly saw for the first time what had been haunting me for so long – that by forcing myself, pressuring myself to act, I was paralyzing myself with pressure. With a deep breath I took in what was around me, and felt as though it was the first breath I had taken in a long time.

It’s amazing how so many people are quick to dismiss ghosts. How do you know if they are real or not? Stories of ghosts have been around for millennia, and even during a time of technology, the idea of ghosts STILL fascinate us…

I have my own twin; his name is Adam and I could not ask anything more from one. He’s just like me in every way; it’s like having a clone. If you also have a twin, you must know what it’s like.

Healthy like a horse running around the track, its heart pumping, legs pumping, like pistons firing, fire kindling a burning inside of him, a never-ending cycle of fuelling, burning, fuelling, the burn, the horse, the blur of life.

It’s impossible to relate to the way she dances under the moonlight. I’ve stopped inviting her over, because I don’t understand how she can connect to the glowing white sphere pretending to burn in the sky above us.

Discontent. I don’t know why I am not happy. There’s something missing a hole. Just the last puzzle piece missing. I dropped it somewhere on the floor. I can’t find it.

It was a tutorial of how to give CPR. It took all morning just going over the instructional book with the class, and in the afternoon we practiced on dummies. Many lives were saved that day

The haunting woods overlooked the city, the leaves falling as fall came and went. The voices that cried out of the woods at night were ghastly, grim – screaming for help. If I had been smarter, I would have avoided those woods – the grim sights inside were enough to scare me for eternity.

The man was upset with the outcome of the day. All that work, and he still felt like nothing got done. The boss had sent him three more things – clients to contact and resolve issues with – that he hadn’t even touched.

And it was only Monday

“Prosecuted. The lawyer prosecuted the rapist. Prosecuted.”

“Prosecuted. P-r-a-w-s-e-c-u-t-e-d. Prosecuted.”

Ding! The bell rang.

“I’m sorry, that’s incorrect.”

To sum up my desperations I’ve spent hours frustratingly saving up all of the money from my couch cushions, and counting cans for bottle deposits so I can exchange them for hiring someone who can tell you that I’m sorry, better than I can.

She bullied them into doing her bidding for her, but it was so well disguised that they did it willingly, and in fact, were happy to do it.

The banqueting bunch bounced around afterwards. It was a banquet of light food for light-hearted people, nicely packed with pretty flowers

Feature me my darling
Delicate amongst the leaves
Falling forever

As the cold Connecticut air
chaps my cheeks
and dries your paint

Direct me in the direction I am supposed to go. I’m taking a leap of faith here and I’m not sure what’s on the other side. The other side is like a tunnel with a light at the end.

I will follow the light for now, but hopefully I’m not just another bug heading towards the zapper.

Roll up your sleeves. It’s time to pretend we’re men. Fixing the faucet is a job for a handyman, I know, but do we really want to admit we can’t do it?

The pledges pledged allegiance to the flag of the fraternity. It would be the most tame of all of the exercises and tests they would go through over the weekend. Once hazing commences, they are all targets.

He acted with a new focus, one that I hadn’t expected, but was pleasantly surprised to see. It was very…intimate with the character. Very in touch. Very real.

When he finished, I acted like nothing had changed.

I try not to be too serious with my writing. I try not to get caught up in log lines and instead try to let ideas come to me. But it’s not that simple!

Something that does not have balance or is unjustly favored for one versus another. Place in life, money, sports, etc.

Imagine a world where there were no consequences. Where you could fulfil your heart’s desire as no one would know – or care. When she imagined such a place, it became easier. Slipping into a silent fog of imagined forgiveness. there, she could give in, relax, relapse and accept her wildest dreams – dreams of a life she had once, so briefly touched, and then desperately denied.

Fumes poured out from the car’s hood. It needed to be fixed.

A man pulled up behind the car as my dad grunted, jacking the car up. My sister looked at me with a wary eye. With the road so empty this late at night, we were hoping that the man coming up to us was friendly.

Undo the typing. We are writing together in a moment of clarity. But instead, let’s focus on each other. Let’s talk. Once we better understand what the other person has going on, maybe we can explore that a bit more, and write about it
