growing

There was a tree growing up at the top of the hill. We used to meet there before the war. Since then things haven’t gone as planned, and the interesting part is, the tree stopped growing the day we stopped meeting there. I swear that was not on purpose. How were we supposed to know that would happen?

end

end. We all have an end, but my end is really just a new beginning. One of infinite and neverENDing love from my savior. John 3:16

under

Under the vast, dark, gleaming sky, i feel little. Overpowered. Yet, completely amazed as I look underneath the stars. Just gazing. Dreams taking over my mind.

average

average is a really boring word and there’s only so much you can write about it. like, it’s an average word and it makes my writing just average, nothing special, and nothing horrible, either. it’s been an average day and i don’t have much more to say about that.

When you add two things together and divide by two, you get an average. Our life was just us, divided by two: average. There was nothing extraordinary about us, nothing interesting. Nobody was knocking on our door to take our picture and get a soundbyte. But we never got bored.

success

very few ever succeed, because to have success you must be completely happy with what you have done, and for most it is too late for that.

digital

maybe if we all kept things in our life that are digital we would be happier. things that take care of themselves. things that work. things we control, but don’t have to babysit.

lucky

I’m lucky. Lucky looks like Lucy and I really like the Peanuts. Lucy Van Pelt is sassy and I love it. I know when I’ve been insulted! I know when I’ve been insulted. This website would be even better if people weren’t allowed to delete anything or edit what they write at all. People self-censor too much. Also, mispellings are funny.

trend

Some people have a really hard time deciding whether or not they want to follow a trend. It can be hard. To you conform to what everyone likes or do you stay an individual? What if you really like it? And that’s what you have to do. Decide if YOU like it or not. Screw everyone else. It’s only trendy if you think so.

anxiety

I cant breathe. Sometimes I’m so worried I’ll run out of pills or booze that I can’t inhale. It feels like something is pounding on my chest, like someone is sitting on my diaphram. I can’t breathe. too much anxiety.

chrome

He checked his hair out in the chrome of the car. Not bad, he decided, and kept walking. There was a muffled laugh before he took three steps. Swivelling his head casually, he saw a girl with impossibly long legs leaning against the car heÂ’d just used to check his hair. He swivelled his head back and kept walking, blushing.
Then he stopped.
What, sheÂ’d never used a car as a mirror before? Who was she to judge?
Feeling justifiably perturbed, he turned.
She stood, walked around to the side of the car, and made a big show out of checking out her own hair, angling her head to see both sides. Then she pulled keys out of her pocket, winked with her left eye, and drove off.
In the quickly disappearing chrome, he could see his image, grinning.
