I hate calculus. The derivative of x^2 is 2x, and I still don’t understand hyperbolic functions and I suck at math. Honestly, why am I going to business school if I got 54% in calculus? It’s as though I believe that I might actually do okay in calculus this year. Sure I know the basics but I kind of suck ass at it. If only I pushed myself harder I suppose…

estoy evitando darme cuenta de algunas cosas que me hacen mal pero no se como dejar o si se como dejar pero es difícil y no tengo ganas. O tengo miedo. La vagancia y el miedo son mis dos mayores obstáculos para casi todo. Creo. No se.

Tracking devices, tracking points, keeping track–of kids, activities, keys, pets. Tracks in the snow, in the dirt, footprints at the beach. Tire tracks.

There was no time. She quickly fixed the clamp between the two suitcases and headed inside. It was a lousy escape plan but clearly there weren’t any other options. She stood behind the staircase and listened to the sound of footsteps, which got louder and louder by the minute.

The coach was a complete dumbass. He was strict, harsh, and everything mean. Every game we played, we lost. I blame him. He sucks at coaching. The girls were winning some games at least. God. Why don’t fire this guy and get us a better coach.

Alarming. Yes. That’s how I would describe it. It was truly alarming how she just came bursting out of the door, screaming. She was like a little girl who didn’t get her Barbie. I didn’t say anything, though, I was still curious as to what was going on.

End a life with a bolt of lightening
10 million volts and she is lluminated
A flicker, a fizz and a hiss of smoke escapes from the top of her head
‘At last’ she said.

When we went bowling, he didn’t pick up a ball. He simply swayed his hands and all the pins fell in awe.

“I believe that is checkmate” He whispered, his voice cold. He puffed his cheeks with air and let it out. I sullenly watched his knight take out my king without him touching it.

“Did you use me to get leverage? All of this! Us Maggie, us. Was that just part of your plan” The silence rang around the room after I took my last breath.

I ran back to his house. I couldn’t stand the guilt. But it was too late. I silently stood and watched the blood smudge across the room.

Beware, the days long gone
Beware when you were once mine and hazy shadows make their way against my drooping eyes that brush the earthy floor
beware the distance in my heart to yours
shattered camera and not photographs because the pictures dont matter as long as there are no more new ones
of the little dangers of your heart
only to realize that all you should be wary of is yourself
