The hillside with it grassy green pastures was golden in it’s rolling and bountiful appeal. The cows that sat upon the hills alongside the children as sunset was a beautiful sight.

The waitress turned, and came back to the table. “This is YOUR tip”, she said, throwing a penny down on the dirty plate.

Drinking it and being drunk at a party. Only at a formal occasion though. Also a nice light gold color. Pretty good to look at but, not that great of a color. Over used to in tech as a gold color to attract customers.

billowing billowing, up to to the sky it soared, the freedom of some dust is greater than I could attain. Why is the dust so free and I so stuck?

Snow. What a beautiful time of year, Winter. I love that first snow. Not like the slushy mess, but the first crisp clean snow. Walking through the woods and seeing the branches of trees, weighed down by the mass of white powder. It leave’s me in awe; staring at Gods wonder.

I love roast beef, as well as a lot of thing’s roasted. roasted almonds, roasted peanuts. I like fried things more however, even candy bars and cookies. Bacon is delicious. Mike Tyson’s roast was good but not the same thing.

typhoon is a tropical storm. One just happened in the Phillipines. Millions displaced I believe. One might consider the existence of such things as proof for the non existence of God. I consider it one of many such proofs. I live in Louisiana now, where we wait every year for a hurricane to destroy everything in a fell swoop, a clobbering of wind and foam and mist.

Historic reminds me of things that are old….Very, very old. I have always wanted to be an historic figure.

The word also is fun because it “adds” to everything we do. If you are swimming and you are ALSO diving, aren’t you having more fun?? If you are meeting and ALSO planning you are getting a hell of a lot more done!

and in the blink of an eye, i saw it rise before me. Jack had conjured up the entirety of the desert into the sky and was creating a whole glass city. I didn’t believe it was possible to create so much with such a small channel, a white porcelain elephant.

there was a loud knock at the door, made of wrought iron and filled with runes from a time long passed. A heavy bolt was heard sliding open, and that’s when i first saw him. a man in Victorian garb, dressed up in all the finest silk, with a revolver at his chest and a signet ring of an eagle on his finger

i stood there on the rocky mountain face, my knife in hand, looking at the tiger that had just tried to maul me. it was like a switch was flipped inside my head. one minute i was bleeding, tiger’s jaws wrapped around my arm, then i became something wild. something frightening.

Sweep. A sweepstakes. Wouldn’t it be nice to win someday? I used to dream about the people from Publisher’s Clearing House coming to my grandmother’s in the summer and telling her that she had won the grand prize. She applied nearly every year. I would venture to say she’s spent about a million dollars in postage. Just an estimate…

employees are just meatbags. That’s what a boss should be saying. They’re breathing and living things, sucking oxygen, eating time. It would be best that they are replaced by machines, robotic arms that consume nothing but small doses of sweet, syrupy electricity.

I think I would charge into life with abandon. Charge is the way things are done. Don’t sit by and wait for things to happen. Be you, but be aggressive. Charge towards the things you desire.

They buried him in a corner of the graveyard, up on a slight hill, near the cherry trees. He would like that spot, they thought, but he probably wouldn’t like the fact that they had buried him while still alive…

The upper reaches of human achievement are rather thinly populated, for the simple reason that they have to be.

The rain dripped down his forehead, wetting his eyebrows and tickling his nose. He did not wipe it away, for that would mean lowering the flag he held, and he would not do that until the bugler had finished his salute and his father’s coffin had been lowered into his grave.

A fresh wind blew in her face, washing away the sleepiness as well as the tears. She smiled at him, and said she would be different from now on.
