traditions are the way the world caresses the old. it’s the way humans try to cherish the past and add purpose to the future. repetition. consistency. beauty in the way we used to do something. meaning in the words we recite.

I prefer to be happy. being sad can teach you some pretty important lessons but i prefer to be at peace with myself. I also prefer fall over summer now which is weird. it shows ive changed quite a bit.

this reminds me of a horrible time in my life where i had larynx spazms and i couldnt breathe and i felt like everything was collapsing in on me. my throat, my life, my success. that word is a symbol of my weakness.

this reminds me of captivating an audience. or being a captive! it can be good to be captivating but bad to be a captive. kinda makes me think of pirates in a way.

You see, it’s a subjective thing. Perspective, I mean. That lady over there, she’s going to see it differently than you do. And him? Another story. No matter what, everything is going to have a thousand different sides to it.

the bright color that summer is in love with, the thing you aspire to be but you just end up a pastel. the bright city lights around you are neon.

entrenched in the old ideas of what war and peace mean. entrenched in the idea that the us dream is THE dream to have, bloated and fat on easy, lazy normal life. Why not begin the journey out of the pit? Chile could be the famous new adventure to me and mine, better than the trench of ease and complicated joy. Free of expectations, free to create our own fresh sweet life of laughs and cuddly world traveler little cheeks. Why not? Pick and steps to lay, together up toward the breeze.

Instructions can at times be laborious, niggling obstacles to productivity — to actually finishing something. The writer of instructions many times has an incidious propensity for details that leave the instructed wary, confused, and incomplete.

Harness…horses…I don’t even particularly like horses. With their heads and their hooves. Seriously, who the hell trusts horses? Yeah, weird word, this one.

twirling – it makes me dizzy. I have to slow down, sometimes stop completely. Put a foot forward, maybe two back. That’s what it’s about really. No one ever tells you which way to go. How to go. Feel things flowing through you, moving past you, close your eyes and move.

One day I was walking in the park, and up there, in the highest tree, was a bird nest. I gazed up at it, awestruck by the detail that had been put into creating, mesmerized by the sheer beauty of nature around me. I looked over to my brother and whispered “What a lovely day it is, isn’t it?” He looked at me with the utmost sincerity and said “Its perfect”. He leaned in and gave me a hug, which concluded a wonderful day. THE END.

Aprons are so homey. I rarely wear them. Actually I only wear them when I’m at my parents’ house for the holidays and we’re all in the kitchen making our favorites. This year I wore a Christmasy one with a poinsettia on it.

A palette? Ummmmm, for different colored paints? Or maybe – how refined is your palette? Do you like fish sticks or sushi?

A wedding gown. An evening gown. A long, beautiful, expensive dress made from fine fabric and tailored beautifully. Probably only to be worn once in a lifetime for a special occasion. Little girls dream of the gowns they’ll one day wear.

The president of the United States is currently Barack H. Obama. And he is awesome. I was allowed to vote for the first time when Barack was on the ballot. I hope he is the president for a 2nd term too. There is a card game called Presidents. The president has a tough job probably no time for card games.

Do the Cupid shuffle! Shuffle the cards! Shuffle is my favorite feature on iTunes when I’m cleaning my apartment. Every day I’m shufflin’…

A patent is what you get when you invent something. There there’s a special law about your patent and no one can make a similar invention (too similar) until your patent expires. I’ve never had a patent on anything but my grandpa had some idea of his for coiling hose patented. I don’t know when his patent wore out but it’s cool that he invented something.

Executive make me think boss. In a big shiny office. With lots of windows. Because, windows let in light and no one wants to be left in the dark. Being in the dark isn’t so much scary as it can be made out to seem. It makes you trust and rely on others and your surrounding rather than yourself.

many people think that there is a god, while other think that they are alone in the believer. “then i saw her face – now i’m a believer” eased the tension but was there something else, something hidden under shrek’s leek layers? seeing is believing, blind people believe everything instead of seeing.

Soaring above the landscape with wings outspread, the hawk surveys the ground for a morsel to satisfy it’s need to feed. With blinding speed it sweeps to the surface to collect the reward for it’s watchful eyes.

I have reflexes. You have reflexes. Sometimes you tell me yours are better than mine. I just think we each have good reflexes at different types of things. You can catch. I can talk shit real quick. See? Different. But both reflexes.

Bulb. Tuliptacular. Fields of glowing tulips swaying in the wind, looking bright, cheery, colorful. Onions have bulbs too. Stinky, pungent oniony joy. Christmas bulb? Soft, glowy light outside my window. Penis bulb?? Ha ha….good thing my time is up!
