There is always time for another project, another attempt. Business is business. This is a very impressive idea, and I have to say we are excited by it, but we would like to think on it for some time. Let’s meet again at another venture, when the resources are there to fund it we can come back to this one. I feel that at this point in this venture that we will have to move on to other projects.

It is a reminder that everything about our lives is a temporary state. There is nothing that is more to the point when we see the abandoned shack on the side of country roads, falling apart and rotting, but new sprouts are budding on the inside of its once solid frame.

I am not lonely when I am alone. In fact is something that I need for the creation that is in my mind. I need the quit. I need to be on my own and working as I go. I do spend time with those I love. Yet they know, that sometimes it is very nice to be alone.

The feeling of home is interesting. It is the combination of incense, the food, soft furniture, smiling faces, listening ears, lifetime of memories and the inevitable feeling of dislike and dread of staying more than a few days.

makes us feel safe, but that means that we are watched, we restrict ourselves. we put bars on our windows and we did no crime. we put them there to keep them out. But we also keep ourselves in. The insanity is not always apparent.

An asylum should be a place of peace. A den away from the storm of the outside world. But, it was not so. Torture, humiliation, and utter disregard for the human being happened there. That is why the word contains such horrifying weight

Squintting compresses the light slightly, helps to narrow ones focus. But the disadvantage is that it closes ones peripheral vision. That is why Morris always gave something to read to his dangerous victims, a small letter book with tiny writing.

Something that seems to be true, can feel like it is solid and real, with a moments notice, can dissolve into nothing. All it takes is pulling the right strings of the fabric that we have called reality and let it all unravel. Then we can enjoy the horror in the faces of those who have crossed us.

To stand together for change, for rights, or any deal is brave. Especially sine the governments often have only one response. When people with signs meet soldiers with guns, only death and martyrdom follow.

A priest, a good priest that is, knows that dogma is a window dressing. What is really important to his or her flock is that they understand the words behind the stories, the meaning. To a religion with political gain, dogma is everything.

The sundried tomatoes were the perfect finish to an already delicious pizza. It was both a food and visual piece of art.

They say that they need proof to base my assumptions. I laugh at this of course. They allow the Christians, Jews, and Muslims to have their faith based on old books, written forever ago. But my vision of the great Spaghetti and Meatball God is scoffed at.

the squeezing pressure is slowly in increased with ever twist of the robotically operated handle, crushing the hand ever so slightly. The bones start to crack and blood bursts from crushed vessels. Do not operate alone the sign said, the last thought I had before fainting from the pain.

It was the words and meaning that had me at completely. “Beer is best in good company”, he said. “That… that was … beautiful… that is.” I slurred back.

They showed up in thousands, demanding justice and retribution. The people yelled with foaming mouths and sun parched voices. Freedom is what they asked for. The simple ability to choose a government and complain about its decisions over a drink, without fear of retribution. The government responded to the cries with bullets.

The smell filled the room. The misty waves floated amongst the inhabitants, touching their clothes and filling their noses. It embraced them in the small confines of the moving glass and steel, as this moving room brought its passengers higher and higher. Then the question was asked, the one question to finish the sacred ritual. “Who farted?”

It isn’t the cleanest way to close a wound, nor would i ever recommend it to anyone. However, when a patient has to be help down as they attempt to attack every one in the room, stapling is some times to only way to close the wound shut.

It was the way the light caught his head from behind. It was as if he were a saint or a god. But that was ridiculous, people didn’t glow… at least not the people Robert drank with on a regular basis. This, however, was not a regular night.

the embarrassed cringe at the word gamer. They see a closet bound Gollum, pale skinned and starving on a diet of cheesy puffs, who has the social skills of a puking armadillo. I see someone who has embraced a new medium of stimulation and fun.

He chuckled at the ravens inane conversation a constant commentary on everything that was human. Jack than turned to the Raven asked him to say ‘Nevermore’. The raven turned and replied, “Fuck you.”

She had wrapped her whole body in a mix of saran wrap and aluminum foil. The result was a body suit of metallic qualities and a reflective plastic skin. She walked up to me as seductively as possible with the awkward squeaking of her limbs. My first thoughts were, however, how she was going to be able to pee at the party.

It was the sum total of everything that they knew and owned. the thick leather ledger contained every deal and swindle that they had ever managed. The strange part for an outsider was the names of the business: Buerger and Rolstand – Traditional Imports and Aftertime Exports. The old man who lived in the alley across the street could be heard wisely saying, “There be something foul in that place. Something rotten down the marrow.”

They walk about the carnival, long legged, perched like slim flamingoes above the people. Laughing children look up at the colourful costumes. The walkers keep on, dropping pamphlets for the latest attraction.

It is the state of the world. The hidden minority that fills the streets, carrying the impossible burdens of mental illness, chemically washed brains, and poverty’s eternal grasp.

The problems began after the break up, not before. The cracks that suddenly became canyons, separating the two. Their friends naturally took sides and loyalties developed. Eventually, it was forgotten that they were both good people.

Others see the crow as a bird of death, of ill luck. But I am one of the lucky ones. The crow is luck to me. When I see it flying or sitting on the side I know that my day is about to be better, or at the very least more interesting. Who knows what that trickster has in store for me.

There are no moves left. Defeat is complete. “Ha!” I say. I pick up my king and gab it into my opponents face. Blood and screams insue. I use the chess board to silence the screams and spread the red translucent beauty onto the walls.

The buildings of today are all sharp corners and vectors that collided in straight lines of glass and steel. The older buildings may have been inefficient and let little light in. But they knew how to create beauty in the carved stone and beautiful stone work. Each home could be a castle, and every town a kingdom.
